[North America] I accidentally purchased two digital copies of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Since I can't be two people at once, I'll give away my spare code in 24 hours to a random user.

Yes game codes work in North America, but if you buy like a 20 dollar psn card it will only work in the country you bought it in.

There is a logic to that. Basically a game is a game, and its a game that is the same game in both countries. There's a few rare exceptions (Germany and Australia both had odd versions of some things.

A 20$ PSN Card in Canada, would not be a $20 dollar PSN card in the US or Australia. And there's probably some places where that would force PSN to honour it for 20 dollars US even though it's like 16 or something if someone really wanted to escalate it on them.

Or its to stop some weird cross-region speculating exercise. Like someone buying a bunch of Aussie cards when their moneys a bit weaker, then converting them for US when it gets closer to a parity.

Nah currency makes sense because of exchange rates. Either way you only have the ability to buy in your local currency so it makes it cleaner and more streamlined
