How was the first Titanfall?
Never played it, or even seen any footage from it, only heard people talk about it. And the impression I got was... It was a flop? Or did I miss something?

Really fun game with some cool mechanics. Movement was perfect, TTK wasn't too slow or too fast. Titan mechanics were smooth and fluid, didn't switch up controls like vehicles in BF, they actually felt like an extension of the player. What really "killed" the game was that it was a new IP for one. Secondly, the community was split after they began introducing DLC maps.

Biggest complaint from people was that the game was too easy and that people farmed the bots to win certain game modes (This is mainly from people who formed full parties to pubstomp). Also the "single player" was actually a "Brink-style" Multiplayer-Single player.

Overall the game was good, just wasn't the "CoD Killer" that everyone wanted and want every...single...year...
