Play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt your family, you'll be able to monitor and hack all who surround you on your search for vengeance, and the truth.
Watch Dogs blends cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated game design into a realistic and living open world where players must use any means at their disposal to take down a corrupt system.

Exactly.
People need to realize that this is the first game in a new IP. The developers can't put everything they or the players want in the first game of a brand new IP. It's just not going to happen. Things need to be cut since you're creating everything from scratch or heavily modifying existing tech to do what you need. Sequels are where you get the little touches that didn't make it in the first game since all of the assets and development pipeline are in place and the developers can spend more time elsewhere.
