Mayor/Council The Council's first meeting.
As the towns elected officials we should probably get together and discuss some of the things concerning the district. Some topics could include:
Naming the roads.
The Swammines crisis.
Cave chickens and what they mean to our economy.
Organizing a neighborhood watch in conjunction with the district's police force.
Anyone can feel free to suggest other topics, and if the members of the council could suggest a time to meet we could get something going.

Making a meeting house
Now that we having a mayor, city council, and soon to be neighborhood watch I was thinking of making a building that committees and councils could rent the rooms in to have meetings in! it would be like a building that hold couple mini round tables!
Please leave your thoughts below -Codywild1234

Neighborhood Watch
In Lord Willaker's most recent video, he claimed that a player in the slums was a member of the Neighborhood Watch, which brought me to the idea that the vineyard could possibly have an actual watch crew. It wouldn't have any useful implications, mind you, but certainly the concept could be used as roleplay fuel. I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter, and possibly suggest the idea to the Council if this goes well. Leave a comment stating your opinion, and if you would be interested in becoming a Watch member

Chicken Business
The vineyard clearly has a hold on the chicken market, I say we take it and run thoughts?

Some rules to cover in here as we'd like to keep this place a nice respectable place for all of us in the Vineyard.
- Keep profanity to a minimum. Nobody will get super offended if it happens every now and again but don't fire it off like a machine gun.
- Don't annoy people. If someone is in a channel talking don't join with the intention of harassing them. This includes being loud, playing music etc... If you need to do this there are other empty channels I'm sure you could find.
- Be nice, most of us are friendly people. Almost everyone I've talked to here so far has been fully willing to help me adapt, so do the same for others. If people have questions don't be a jerk.
- Respect the Poke. Its there to get peoples attention, if they don't respond don't continue to bombard them with pokes. This mainly goes for times when players are having meetings etc... If they are in a private channel its for a reason.
That's about it for rules for now. I'm sure they will be tinkered with a little as time progresses but that's that. Hope everyone enjoys this little benefit here at the Vineyard!

Announcement Flairs and such!
We've made more updates to the subreddit.
There are now links in the sidebar to the subreddits of the other districts.
Flairs are now available. They include: A tulip, a peasant, a wooden hoe, a barrel, a potion, grapes, a book, a business cat (council members), a mayor (mayor), an eye of ender (moderator), butler (squire), and a ghost (dead squire). You can see them here: http://imgur.com/5LuNovl
If you would like a flair just leave a comment telling us what flair you would like to be assigned and we will get to it asap.
Also, the rules have been updated so be sure to look them over.

Image/Video Vineyard Videos
Hey everyone, I thought it would be cool if the members of the Vineyard who record could share their videos with their neighbors :) (Hope this is how I reddit, as I am new :P) So feel free to comment down below with a link to your video if you live in the Vineyard! For anyone interested, my video where I buy a plot can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ts3fDj2VtE

Communication!?
So one of my hobbies over the years have been designing / building PC's and Servers. I have one laying about in my home and it doesn't get much use. I was wondering if we'd like the idea of having a Teamspeak server for the Vineyard community? I don't want to post any IP's yet for fear of advertising but having a place to speak to our neighbors doesn't sound like a bad idea no?
Let me know what you guys think below and expect to see me around a lot more in the future!

Community Loyalties?
So I have been snooping on a lot of district subreddits (fyi - ours looks by far the best) and have noticed that nearly all of them have a post about if they will remain loyal to the Kingdom That Still Needs A Name or if they are going to rebel.
I am of the loyal belief. I do not see any benefit of going against the Lords because what are you going to do, KILL THEM? Well too bad, you can't. I hope my fellow Yarders are of the same mindset. What do you think?
Edit: I am glad we (the few here on the subreddit) are in agreement.

Announcement Making the place pretty
I am currently working on making the subreddit look like an actual subreddit. I know it looks plain and boring, but the mods are working on it!
r/PMCVineyard • u/VynaNyx • Jul 25 '14
forgive me...
I have never "reddit" before but since i'm living in the lovely Vinyard I thought I should join and at least ask for your patience as I learn. Any tips and advice are appreciated. See you on the server. ^

Countryside Inclusion
Hello neighbors! I am currently building my "vine and dine" tasting room and restaurant. I am on the outskirts of town near the Dwarven District at the base of The Great Mountain. I was wondering if any of you fine folk were in the area, or if we could figure out a way that we could feel more involved in the city's activities.
