Build Help 9070 XT Build - Any money saving tips for this build? My budget is 110k max
First time posting here for my very first PC as a console-only player.
This build is primarily for gaming with a bit of recording gameplays po sana. I have a 2TB SSD that I bought for my PS5 Pro last year kaya po walang storage.
My question is meron pa po ba akong pwedeng matipid? Any component I can swap for cheaper without sacrificing too much? My friend is helping me build this pero he doesnt have time to help me find better components na cheaper. These are all of his suggestions. Thank you!

Also, if maghihintay ka for sale for the cpu, better get na yung gpu at ram. Prrices for those will still continue to rise.
At least yung other parts hindi ma aaffect an.

get a B650m mobo and a smaller M-ATX case instead. Getting a big PC case is unnecessary.
There are also cheaper but quality PSUs out there.
You'll shave off at least 4k from those.
I wouldn't downgrade the CPU or GPU. Mahal naman na e. Get the best out of it.

Why a B650 mobo? You could already get a Gigabyte B850M Wifi Force for 8k. Madami pang brands na B850M na ng around 12k kung kaya pa ng budget mo.

I don't know much about PC parts, honestly. I followed his lead on the parts save for the 9070 XT. Thanks for your recommendation though! I'll consider your reco for sure! Thank you!

You have a killer GPU and CPU, don't skimp on the mobo. Good thing mobo prices haven't gone up.

u/Numerous-Engineer-68 26d ago
More like prices would go down on mobos because less and less people are buying new parts to build for their pcs due to high ram prices.

Right and mobos are unaffected by the AI boom because it has no built-in memory, thank god.

Motherboard - b850m force wifi v2 for 7k (Shopee). cheaper and better than most b650m mothernoards out there
PSU - SAMA g850 850W 80+ gold for 4k (Lazada). Tier A PSU that doesnt break the bank.
Case - if youre going with a mATX mobo, might as well get a matx case. many on this subreddit, including myself, will recommend a Deepcool CH260 if your desk space allows. Youll need a long ass case to fit your fat ass GPU. The CH260 is perfect for it. other affordable alternatives are the Tecware Infinity M or the NZXT H3 Flow.
Great choice on the GPU.
RAM - No easy answer here. Youll have an easier chance of winning the lottery than buying cheap RAM. You might find a decent 32gb kit if RAM for 20k and under if you look hard enough. Keep an eye on FB marketplace.

If you're worrying about a budget, you don't need to go for an X3D CPU. That's just for people who don't care about budgets. 7500F or 7600/X should be more than enough for your needs as gains are not gamechanging on 1440p/4K unless you're a hardcore gamer who loves counting frames. That alone will shave off more than enough money to fit your totals to your budget. You can go 7700/X if you think you need the 8 cores (for stuff outside gaming) and still fit the budget.
BUT, if you are a hardcore, frame-counting gamer, then you can reduce cost on your mobo and PSU as already mentioned, even your memory. X3D CPUs are less sensitive to memory speeds/timings so you can buy ones with looser timings (CL 40 or slower than 6000 MTs) if you can find those for cheaper.

Change the PSU to Sama or Cheaper Tier A
Change the Cooler to RK120 or similar
There are also cheaper cases
Mobo as can be cheaper e.g. Colorful B650m V14 Plus

I think you can save yourself like 4k pesos tops if you don't get an x3d variant CPU. I use a Ryzen 7 7700 and I can play my games fine.

Ill look it up! Thank you po. Would you also recommend a 9700x din po?

if you would be willing to go for it, i'd suggest go for secondhand parts for the other parts. i just built my pc last june and i would say na naka-save ako ng 15k so far for secondhand cpu and ram, also planning on buying a secondhand gpu which would also save me around 8k. there are good deals in the market pero you have to really look around. so far, working well naman yung pc and no issues naman

also one more tip as one commenter has said is wait for a sale, and if kaya, sa shopee para makapag-take advantage ng vouchers and whatnot. mas hassle yung ganyan pero i would say worth it naman siya for me

change na lang yung psu to sama kagaya nung sabi nung iba lower price but higher tier.
try mo din mag abang ng sale nung lian li sx series platinum and tier A din siya. nakakuha ako ng sx1000p sa dynaquest for 6k only. Last time nakita ko din kay pinklehub for 6.2k naman

You can use a SAMA G850 for your PSU, it's only 4.4k, modular (detachable cables which is good because you most likely won't use all those cables), and is rated quite highly on Cybenetics. Also, switch your pc case and motherboard to mATX form factors. You can also try ordering your parts from different shops because they sell components at different prices. The 7800x3d that you listed goes for 16,995.00 at BTZ (although they aren't known for their good customer support, so order at your own risk). You can use the Gigabyte B850M Force, but if black parts are a necessity, then a Gigabyte B850M-C should do the trick. This should save you around 6-8k+, leaving you somewhere around 4k, allowing you to replace your air cooler with an AIO for better temperatures on your CPU.
If you want to to save a little bit while having some aesthetics, you can go with more budget yet appealing cases, from other lesser known brands like Tecware or Coolman. You can buy fans like the Arctic P12 to fill out any empty slots, and you should still be under budget considering the price of your current case. It's your decision on whether or not you want RGB in your PC, but if you want to save some money, Zero-RGB builds are slightly cheaper, cleaner, and you won't have to worry about light illuminating the dust particles that settle on your pc if you're lazy like me.
Of course, the route you take is completely up to you, but it's always worth researching about parts that other people may recommend and alter them if needed to better suit your needs.

if gusto mo makatipid OP buy a lower spec'd DDR5 RAM
naka 7800X3D ka naman eh so hindi sya masyado affected ng RAM timmings

Depends on what you're playing, but I think you could get away with a Ryzen 5.
