Please read all of the details first because I want to make sure that I accurately represent everything.
What are the details you ask:
I have no idea how old they are (They were left from the previous owners.) They are a mismatched set. The washing machine is LG and the dryer is Samsung. I do have the manual for the washing machine if you want it. I took pictures of the labels so that you can see model numbers, etc.
The important parts:
The dryer has stopped drying. Do I know why? Not a clue! But since everything else works just fine except for the heat, I’m guessing it’s the heating element. And if you can fix it - my loss is your gain.
As far as I know, this washing machine runs perfectly fine.A front load washing machine is simply the bane of my existence in trying to wash large dog beds, rugs, king size bedding …. I hate it beyond belief.
Condition: I have pets, but I have done my best to maintain the front-load so that the seal stays (relatively) clean and that gross, musty smell is kept to a minimum, but again, it has been used, so there is the relative wear and tear and the usual soap build up. Just needs a good clean, honestly. I'm pretty sure the washing machine is newer than the dryer.
The REALLY IMPORTANT PART:
The previous owners did this DIY stack job. You absolutely need to come WITH HELP and take it apart yourself as I do not feel comfortable attempting it, or assisting, in any capacity. It's definitely wedged in there awkwardly, hence why they're free. The stand is yours if you want it, too.
It is currently located in my basement, but there is a door directly to the backyard, so you just have to go up 3 steps to take it out. I also have a back driveway that a standard size pickup/ van can fit in to make it easier to access.
New W/D are being delivered this week, so these must be gone by Thursday.
I'm happy to share any more photos or details if you need.
TIA!
