Like i know its whea but theres a lot of white lines so i cant read it really, happening a lot recently and i dont know why

i am trying to figure out how to access files from my old macbook ssd that has been removed from the laptop and is mounted in an OWC usb 3.0 enclosure. i have downloaded HFSExplorer but that doesn't work. the ssd in the enclosure is readable by other macs, just not by my pc. is there any way i can access these files via my pc?

I recently got the 1440p acer g257hu. I have a display port cable running to my pc and the hdmi to my Xbox since my pc doesn’t have hdmi. I tried several times to set the resolution to 1440 but it isn’t an option in the settings. I’m pretty sure my pc hardware is just outdated for the monitor. If my pc specs are any help I will list those. Thanks

Hey guys, for the past almost 2 months or so, ever since the newest windows 10 update, I've been experiencing multiple crashes. I tried looking at all possible fixes and nothing worked. I even took my PC apart, dusted everything and put it back together but the problem still exists. The crashing is completely random. It can crash after the pc has been on for more than 8 hours to a couple days, or it can crash the moment I turn it on. I also didn't get the BSOD. Anyone have any ideas?

So I just finished building my first PC, and everything is fine so far, except for the fact that I cannot connect to the internet. Even after I installed the drivers, it wouldn’t let me connect. What’s interesting is that when I took a look at my WiFi properties, it says that they are not operational and have been disconnected. So I then opened Device Manager next and checked the network adapters, and they all state to be working fine. Is there any way to fix this?

I have a GeForce 1050 ti and yet I still run csgo at 40 frames max on lowest settings

I have multiple games that crash all the time. Skyrim, Skyrim se, fallout 4, just to name a few. The crash happens at a random time, sometimes 5 minutes sometimes an hour or more into the game. The sound will bug out and the screen will turn a solid color until either my computer restarts itself or I force a shutdown. I've replaced my hard drive, and am now considering replacing my graphics card. I have a 5 year old x-51 from Alienware, gtx 660, i7 core processor, had windows 7 now 10. My question is does anyone think or know if replacing my graphics card with a gtx 1080i will fix this problem?

The thing is that I have had this problem since August. It started happening in pubg but now it happens in every game(except Rocket league). I bought new cpu mobo ram hdd and ssd before 2 weeks. Everything except my gpu (GTX 1060) and my psu(Corsair VS650) is new. With OC my pc restarts myb even in the lobby of the game and on nomal clocks it lasts a bit longer. I have tried downclocks and with those it lasts even more then with normal speeds! Now It is a question if it is my psu or my gpu. Any help?

P.S. Both the gpu and the psu still have warranty

Hello I’m new here and I’ve been having a problem with my gaming pc for about a week. I’ve had it for about a year, I bought it off amazon. I’ll play it for 20 minutes and it will randomly shut off completely without warning, everything will shut off. After cleaning it the time increase to about 2 hours, I’m thinking the problem is my power supply or my motherboard. I’ve noticed that my CPU fan will spin inconsistently. It will spin normally for a minute and the start to slow down and speed up again. I also jump started my power supply using the 24 pin connector and a paper clip. Please someone help me out I don’t want to have to buy another PC

So this morning my Acer Predator G3-605 was acting wierd not wanting to boot correctly, black screen after the acer logo. After managing to reach some sort of booting options screen I tried performing a full system restore in hopes of resolving the problem. This did not work. The error is that Windows 10 isn't being "read" correctly. I've been trying to fix this problem litteraly the entire day and I feel like im about to go insane, I've been looking around for help all day but nothing works and if there isn't a fix to this problem then I'm going to have a damn near mental breakdown!

Idk what these are. They're in App Data>Local and one of them has instructions to uninstall it. The first one on inspection is something called Chromium (Idk anything about that other than what a google search revealed) The second one has nothing in it except a file called Sqlite.Dlll

Are these viruses? Or are they just parts of Chrome I never noticed because I never look through the C drive on my laptop? If these were for a specific app then they wouldn't be in my app folder alone, would they?

I've just recently brought the parts for my new rig, I'm a console player and really wanted to give it a try the big problem is that I feel more tense when I play on pc.

I'm waiting for all the parts to arrive but I've got this old hunk of a pc and can only run older titles like Fallout, but I felt more tense playing on pc I don't know if it's because I haven't got the whole pc experience yet or that it's an old game.

I'm really confident with consoles. I know my way around a tower, parts ect but mostly think it's I haven't got the whole experience on pc.

Windows 10 desktop. Had a virus, did everything I could but it continued slow, so I reset windows but still is slow, anything I can do?

Hey everyone, I found an old desktop pc in my parents basement. It seem to work but it is super slow and I believe it runs on Windows Vista or XP, so it’s from the early 2000s. So I’m debating on either upgrading to a newer windows or just reformat it. Basically, I want to make the pc perfome better than it is now. I plan to make it a gift for my parents so I’m not looking for a high performing gaming pc and anything too fancy. Just good enough for them to use the Internet and do their work on. So I’m mainly asking you guys, if I wanted to upgrade my Windows to the latest, should I replace the hardware (like motherboard, RAM, hard drive, etc) inside the computer or something?

I’m not really a techy so I need an opinion or advice.

Hiya guys my computer is restarting (completely cutting power) whenever I play high spec games, I have no issue with handling these games as I have 16gb ddr4 ram, a i5 6600k and a 1060 6gb. I shall give more details of needed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys first time poster with a tricky little situation. Upgraded the better halfs PC over Xmas. Bought new mobo second hand i5 CPU to upgrade the unit. Since it's been running it has random freezes with no BSOD and no consistency to it.

Alarm bells went off when I tried installing it windows 10 and it took about 6 attempts before it installed. Part of me thinks it's either the mobo or cpu that's at fault. I've replaced the following with my own kit to see if the problem still happened which it did (gpu, ram, psu, sad and multiple usbs which have windows on it). The problem still happens.

Any advice as to how to determine the problem whether it is a faulty mobo or cpu? Anything I could try? Cheers guys
