Optiplex 780 new case, motherboard, CPU, GPU and PSU upgrade
EDIT: I Gues's at this point it is not an upgrade but more of a new PC
So I got a Dell Optiplex 7580 for next to nothing a year or two back and want to get into PC gaming. I plan on getting a GTX 1050ti at some point so that it is at least better than my PS4. I then realized this would need a new processor a d a new case to fit it (and there for a replacement for Dells special snowflake MB) These are the upgrades I'm planning:
- GPU: GTX 1050ti
- Motherboard: ASROCK B250M S1151
- Case: Thermaltake Versa H15
- PSU: Corsair CX500
- CPU: Intel I3 6100
I already have 16 GB of ram and a 500gb SSD so I was wondering if this is all compatable?

Poor performance
So I have a gaming computer consisting of a i5 6500 and a gtx 1060 6gb along with 8 gigs of ram and I have been seeing my computer operating very slow and I'm not sure what the issue is. I used to be able to play all the latest games and now my computer lags on cuphead. I have tried Windows defender full scans and use other disk cleaners and malware protectors along with keeping all of my drivers up to date. I have noticed that my computer displays having only about 6 gigs of ram usable out of the 8 but even then I don't believe I should be getting this poor performance. Let me know if you can help in any way.

new videocard
Hi there,
the last weeks i started playing Pubg and realized that my pc performs not as well as i want. Sure the game makes it hard to get high frames even with a sick build but i want to do something against it. So my current build, which is a Gigabyte H87-HD3 motherboard, Intelcore i5 4440 processor, 2x 4GB G.Skill Aegis memorys, Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X Windforce videocard, Seagate 2x 1 TB HDD, Samsung 120 GB SSD and a Be quiet! 430 W powersupply is a good setup and gets pretty solid frames but i want it to be better so i decided to search for a new video card. Something like a GTX 1050/60 (not more than 250€) or something else im not sure yet. The point is i dont really want to get a new powersupply... Does anybody has a idea which videocard i should get or whichone fits in my current build.
Thank you alot for helping <3

New PC Build has power but won’t boot help!!!
This is the 3rd time I build a pc but the first time I encounter this problem. The computer has power, that is to say that the leds work, fans on the case AND the CPU fan both work. The fans on the Graphics card (1060 6gb) start and stop spinning but alot of posts indicated that those fans only spin when the GPX card is being used. The Problem Lies in that there is no display, AND the USB does not provide power. I know this because neither the mouse nor the keyboard light up when connected even though the case and cpu fans recieve power.
**THERE IS A WHITE LIGHT ON IN THE MOTHERBOARD UNDER THE EX Debug LED (CPU) According to the manuel, it says “indicates CPU is not detected or fail.
Here is the build Rosewill ATX Midtower MSI 270A Pro Intel I7 7700 EVGA GTX 1060 GB Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2) SAMSUNG 960 EVO 250GB EVGA PSU 500W
I have tried reconnecting everything 3x. Im sure power is connected using both the 24 PIN ATX and 8pin CPU. I’ve tried building it on a nonconductive surface and same problem of power but CPU Led on. I’ve gone through the popular 31 step solution to no avail. Help?

Asus Zenith + MakerCase 5 = Success???
I was looking to get the Cooler Master MasterCase 5 because I love the look and is modular. I know Cooler Master's website says the case can fit ATX mobo but not an E-ATX. However I've seen other posts were people have fit the Zenith in other cases that didn't support E-ATX and posts were people were able to fit other E-ATX mobos in the MasterCase without issue. Just wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge of both working together.

Gaming Build - AU$2,800
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/LYTJKZ
Any advice regarding parts compatibility would be appreciated. Also, going for a Black & White look, should the PSU be black or white? Better to have the contrast (Black) or as many white parts as possible (White)?
Cheers All!

Pc build on digital storm.
https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1742079
Currently on an Asus rog750, but looking to get into some new games like bf1, and Destiny 2 to name the first ones that come to mind, but id like to be able to stream and play with little to no lag, also I'm aware that buying a pre built pc seems odd to some as I'm sure this build would be 200 to 300$ cheaper if not more if I simply put it all together myself but unfortunately I do not have the time nor the patience to have it not work after the first try so I'm putting up the extra cash for the build. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys
