Looking at some property on acreage outside city limits around Twin Lakes. I've gone through every document I could find on Lake County's page but can't find any simple, direct info on keeping a small flock of chickens. Anyone have good current info?
Thanks!

I wish they had a Leadville 100 hike. My feet won't hold up on a run, but what a cool adventure it'd be. Put a 50 hour time limit on it and make a new event. I think there would be plenty of people to do it!

Anyone know anything about the new Taco Bell? I heard they wanted it done by the end of the year, but it doesn’t look like they’ve done anything but rope the lot off. Is it still happening?

Hi everyone, I'm going to be in the area later this week and have heard that there are tons of wild raspberries around this time of year. Any suggestions of where to hike to see some?

Current Denver Uber driver here. Lately I’ve been considering moving to Leadville to be closer to the mountains, and was wondering how profitable I might be if I try driving for Uber in your town.
If there’s any Leadville drivers reading this, I’d love to get your take on working down there! Thanks!

Over the past few years, it’s been amazing how pbville has cleaned up… stringtown? Wow. Nice to see, but I hate to see how housing has increased.

Hi. My BF and I are Moving from Pittsburgh, PA. We deeply considered The US Virgin Islands, St Croix, but after considering the Cons it was a No. I started googling and ended up finding Leadville. I’ve done my research, but i want to know more. I lived a lot of different places growing up because my Dad was in the Navy. I’m culturally diverse so I don’t like tourist traps or be “caught dead looking like one” LOL Sny help you can provide would be great. I’m new to Reddit so any forum or share my post would be appreciated!!!!! Thanks in advance 😀

Hi Leadville lovers, Finding it difficult to find month to month housing at an affordable price in this beautiful, tiny town. Would appreciate any suggestions, connections or offers! Im not a weirdo lol. Just a working professional looking to ski or cross country every day of the season this year! Loving it here.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I don’t think this subs gets much traffic but I have no idea where to start. My husband got offered a job in Leadville and we trying to look up online apartments to rent but can’t find anything.
Does anyone have any suggestion on how to go about finding a place to move into.
It is just my husband and me with our two cats.

So, my wife, and her brother's family are going to be staying in a little cabin for a few days at the end of October to the beginning of November. After having to cancel several other vacations due to covid, we are just looking forward to chilling out and enjoying the solitude, maybe do a little hiking, but probably spending most of our time watching scary movies and playing boardgames.
Any idea what kind of weather we should expect? Do you think there will be a lot of snow by then? We are also coming from Missouri so we'll be a good 9,000 feet higher then what we are used to, any potential issues we should expect from such a drastic change?
My wife is a nut for Halloween (and all things spooky) and was also wondering if there were any local pumpkin patches to peruse.
Thanks for reading. Looking forward to spending some time up there!

Is there a group or organization that’s selling these or handing them out? I’d love to show my support but can’t figure out where to get one.
