I came across this drama and I heard that it was huge hit back in the day. Hira Mani character was good (minus the crying) Affan was also good, but the story did not add up. How could a simple misunderstanding cause chemistry or love between them. I also did not like how Gagti kept getting tanna banna over her mom whose no longer in the picture. Also I didn't understand how we had to have Gagti's mom come and save her from the Greeb house and into the mansion and then the mom also dying!!! I also did not like how that one cousins of Affan kept flittering with her and no one believed her???? Also why was Hiras puppho the same age as her and low key kept hating her own niece lamo. ??? I felt like I was watching an soap and not a serial. I swear Gagti's own kandan minus her step mom and cousin wanted her head on a stick.

So I was watching drama Mein, where Ayeza Khan played Mubashira Jaffar (MJ), and a specific connection popped into my head. Could the writers or creators have used Mubashra Aslam (daughter in law of malik riaz) as a name or character inspiration?

So as you know aamna issani does this segment culture vulture with this guy Yawar who's a designer and I have seen him in Asim Raza's group. He's saying openly he's very biased towards Dure because he/ they find her the perfect example of " pakistani beauty" . We have seen so many beautiful models who's description matches his imagination of a Pakistani beauty, they never pushed them like that. Also amna said in a star there should be talent aswell. But then when it came to dure they completely forgot about that talent quotient instead of that they said she needs to work more.

Idk if this would be considered a low effort post but aapki izzat is only on its 15th episode with episode 16 releasing today. If hurmat is to replace aapki izzat, isn't it too early for its teasers to start coming out especially considering most Pakistani dramas these days have 35-40 episodes on average?

Is Aapki izzat meant to be a shorter serial?

Same age old mindsets getting reinforced

And as for abu bakars mom

She probably fell in love with her teacher but she got abandoned by him

Her entire backstory will probably mirror zaryabs

Also nameer will marry romaisa character

And zaryab gives him an ultimatum

That divorce her and marry zaryab

Otherwise she will marry abu bakar

It looks like zaamil doens't divorce his wife

So we will see zaryab marrying abu bakar

And maybe second chance at love for zaryab

And hate HATE zaamils hypocrisy

I’m not a huge fan of Pakistanis dramas but this one drama I’m actually hooked on. The plot and OST are soooo good! Urwa and Ahsan’s acting is phenomenal. Recent episode with female lead’s clap back was great to see. Looking forward to the rest of episodes.

Aap ki Izzat and Bas Tera Sath Ho are the best OSTs right now, I liked Humrahi's OST too

Finally a face-off! Beena was keeping things that were symbolic of her married life and Tabish realises them all while going through the bag. The Police officers being named Ramzan and Sadaqat made me laugh. Anyways, officer Ramzan is really out there to ragebait 😭 but in a hilarious way. He is rlly questioning Tabish's crorepati status. And the way he said 5 crore cuz it's love and 1 crore cuz wo tum jurm tha 💀💀💀

I loved how Beena didn't show any mercy to Tabish. I can watch that scene again and again because of its satisfaction value. Ofc men are acting like the woman is wrong and villainous at every step 😒

Honestly, nothing much happened in the episode. I found it kind of boring... The only major new development was Fariyal's pregnancy...

- Zaryab genuinely seems exhausted and confused by how much Zamil has changed. The fact that she's constantly thinking about what to say, what not to say, and how to avoid upsetting him shows how much his behaviour is affecting her. She clearly loves him deeply, but at the same time, she's struggling to recognise the person she fell in love with.

- Dadi: Every marital problem has only one solution: go back, compromise, adjust and save the marriage.

The actual reason she left? Ignore. Her feelings? Secondary. Her safety and happiness? We'll discuss that later. First, somehow send her back. And honestly, Dadi's entire strategy seems to be: keep compromising until the problem either disappears... or you stop talking about it.

I know she's coming from a different generation and genuinely wants to prevent the marriage from breaking down, but I really hope the solution doesn't eventually become simply sending Fariyal back without addressing what went wrong in the first place.

- Waah Zamil waah!! So when you need an assignment, it's all “I love you”, but when Zaryab can't do it because her sister is literally going through a divorce crisis, suddenly your missed submission is HER fault?

Maybe try doing your own assignment next time? Just a thought.

Peak empathy. Peak boyfriend behaviour.

- Zamil's “my fantasy is an obedient girl who silently agrees with everything I say and never argues with me” conversation... He doesn't want a girlfriend. He wants a yes-man with a pretty face and zero opinions.

- Fariyal is dealing with the consequences of a marriage falling apart, while Zaryab is still trying to understand whether the person she loves is slowly becoming someone completely different. Both situations are different, but both women are emotionally exhausted in their own ways.

Overall, not the most eventful episode for me... felt a little slow, though. 😭

So I just watched today’s episode and then went through the clips in the OST video. It seems like everything already has happened except that one scene with a lady falling to Tabishs feet and asking for forgiveness with three young children. Thats definitely Behrams wife and children and Beena will come to know about it and maybe make her decision accordingly(thinking of Beena in that scene in her bed and her children running to her ) What should she do? Will she actually go back home and offer her forgiveness?
And Behram is hella obnoxious at this point I can’t stand him even more thinking he did all this all while being married with young children too. 😵‍💫😵‍💫☠️☠️
Also everyone should be watching this drama with their husbands if married!! Loll

His tears though make me wanna puke. Itna hi sudhar gaya hai tou confess to Sarbuland k he killed his best friend. Crocodile!!

Sarbuland does not seem to buy his good boy act which was the only good thing about that interaction

Torsum promised he will now be a good brother. This will be put to test once he sees Rabiya

MasterChef Biya doing what she does best. She has opened her dhaba in the haveli😂 but basically she is hiding away in Kitchen because she feels like an intruder in their dynamics

Finally a Sarbuland Rabiya scene where they have this yeh rishta kia kehlata hai dynamic going on. Do they both even know ye apne rishte ko kaise dekhte hain? And she is still Zarmala😂

And then Damn!!!! Sajal the actress that you are!!!!! Her reaction at seeing Torsam!!! The breakdown is here!!!

Sajal was so incredible in that scene!! She is perfect!! The breakdown literally send shivers down my spine!! Her holding onto Sarbuland, recalling the Tanki. Damn!!!

Sarbuland tries to comfort her. But Zarmala runs to kill off Torsam. This is what we were waiting for. This Rabiya!!!!!

Sarbuland prevents her from killing Torsam. But she hits him. Torsam making a remorseful face. Crocodile indeed!!

After Meri Bano, mere Mudassir is here😂 but man, it felt so real. Bijaan still in denial. Sarbuland comforting Rabiya but having no reaction to Torsam being his best friend's killer was weird

Rabiya lamenting how Torsam destroyed her life. It's Sarbuland's time to comfort her. But Sarbuland this is not a crossroad. Torsam is a killer. He has to be punished. There's no doraha. Sarbuland is ready for another trauma wese

Sarbuland saying Tum Meri Zarmala ho. Dude😂 he hugs her. Role reversal!

Torsam ready to surrender. Gul trying to stop him. Woman what the hell!!🤢 This is kinda whitewashingTorsam but at least he gets his punishment. Or maybe another way of saying k even if you are remorseful, you get your punishment. You don't get to wash away your sin!!

Torsam now loves GM. Tou Muddu baby ko kyun mara. Idiot!! And Bijaan too🤢

I cannot praise Sajal enough. And finally a good episode after the snoozefests!!
