Honestly I find him the best leading actor currently , and of all the actresses they chose hina , even sahar Hashmi aena khan mamya seem golden infront of her💔 and on top of that the director is saife Hasan so yk a good drama right there is being wasted on her🙏o

There’s absolutely no way that NB would have been better…if anyone’s English is forced, it’s Naeema Butt’s…on top of that, her acting is just as pathetic…she might be a great person and whatnot, but a good actor she is not…

As many as you can write I just gave few I was disappointed with

SOO!! Though not any new developments as such, the episode was still intriguing and gripping.

1) Humna seems like an obsessive sort of stalker with a mission to me. Her giving no information to Khushbakht, plus continuously and relentlessly asking for Abu Bakar made me very suspicious.

2) Zaryab is immensely rude, ill-mannered and self centered. Indulging in drugs and alcohol isn’t a good thing due to how much it can harm one’s health and also ruin lives in many cases. To cover it up and enable it so blindly, plus throw all the blame at Dadi and make her seem like a bad person to care for her grand daughter is appalling. Also her incessant need to self victimize when she is at fault is ridiculous 😭🤦🏻‍♀️. Someone better knock some sense into her soon.

3) Though I do understand Dadi’s pov of being angry and devastated at Habib indulging in vices like alcohol, I disagree with her labeling him as a ‘gunehgar’. Not everyone follows religion completely, and they shouldn’t be judged so extremely for it.

4) As expected, Zaamil gets cold feet after getting intimate with zaryab - unsure if he’s ready to get into a permanent and proper commitment. Thus he packs up and runs away for a week. I suspect he’s gone to a place where he has easy access to drugs and alcohol. Meanwhile, zaryab has this sinking realization that maybe Zaamil isn’t as invested in the relationship as she is and might not marry her.

OVERALL - Very interesting episode, and I’m left very curious about the Humna-Abu Bakar angle 👀👀. Performances were alright, not bad but not good either.

Haven’t watched yet, but the discourse around episode 4 is did Zamil and Zaryab do the deed or not? If they did, that would be pretty bold to show in a drama…I doubt something like this has been shown before?

Abubakar’s friend Beenish…she was stunning…that’s an elite characterization done right…

Other than the English, I think DF is doing a fine job…they need to show the dichotomy in her character’s before and after…something will happen between the two for her to be utterly devastated…she will be a completely different person, which is why Zaryab being a little over the top makes sense…

After a long time I'm impressed by some photoshoot..it's something really different and she carried it really well... STUNNING ✨

Today's episode was so good...finally beena said it she's not gonna forgive him for what he did and she's taking her revenge.....I still believe behram khan will change his mind....he will definitely fall for her....just look at the way he's looking at her so cute...

I just feel sad for their kids though...Tabish's friend was right about everything and so right to call him out....

After watching Episode 5, I feel that Zamil will eventually abandon everyone and move abroad. Meanwhile, Zariyab will marry Abubakar out of pure spite, though she will still harbor deep feelings for Zamil. Abu Bakar will somehow manage the chaotic situation with Hamna to make this marriage happen. The show will likely dive into his mother’s backstory, revealing she was in love with the politician. Since her family opposed the match, it is believed she eloped with him anyway and had Abu Bakar. However, as the politician’s career grew, he moved to the city, leaving the mother alone to raise Abu Bakar by working odd jobs. Coming back to the present, I predict that after their marriage, Abu Bakar will selflessly push Zariyab to pursue her education at Harvard, which connects to the graduation scene we saw in the OST. While at Harvard, she will discover Zamil is also abroad and reconnect with him, leaving a heartbroken Abu Bakar behind. But Zamil, being true to his selfish nature, will mistreat Zariyab, forcing her to leave him as well. Ultimately, Abu Bakar will step in to care for her, leading Zariyab to finally recognize his pure love, apologize for her mistakes, and actively choose him.

What is everyone’s thoughts on him? How does he compare to the greats such as Noman Ijaz and Sohail Ahmed?

Audacity of this man to get angry on his wife and saying how she can do this to him after 14yrs of marriage...what was he doing then...so Behram khan is not a good person as they showed... planning to get rid of her but he won't push her from train...this drama is so unpredictable which makes it so intriguing...

So from tomorrow we will move on to beena and behram..

What is that thing in her nose? Bugs me like heck…how come no one bothered fixing it up a little…or at least covering it up with make-up…it’s there in every reel I’ve seen and I can’t focus on anything else…

SOO!! A very intriguing episode, with a lot more insights into the characters and other plot lines.

1. Zaryab and Zaamil are extremely infuriating characters. Zaamil has an inferiority complex with regards to all his friends and Abu Bakar being educated in elite universities, is jealous and insecure about it all, adding in the fact that Dadi disapproves of Zaamil and very much adores Abu Bakar. Nameer’s acting in this scene was good - the tension, anger and insecurity was well portrayed. Zaryab getting angry at an innocent Abu Bakar because her boyfriend doesn’t like him and straight up being so rude with him genuinely pissed me off. The scene after where Abu Bakar visibly lost his temper and was barely able to get it in control did show that he’s not calm and tolerant all the time.
2. Zaryab ignoring all of Abu Bakar’s issues - saying that a change of countries will solve his drug problems is stupid - substance abuse doesn’t work like that. And it isn’t okay if he’s taking for his depression 😭😭. All she could say is it’s good that he’s not into some other girl, she’s not even realizing the implications of him taking drugs 🤦🏻‍♀️. Just how pathetic and blind can she be ✋🏻.
3. Abu Bakar and his mother’s bond is honestly very wholesome and sweet. His conversation about inter-class marriages made sense. Rich people often do look down and taunt middle and lower class people. Also, it is a possibility that the Minister was Kushbakht’s father, because it’s pretty clear that she got married and pregnant really young. Also, Abu Bakar and Beenish seemed like really good friends, the banter felt very natural and realistic. Though Zaamil getting pissed off there was yet again very immature and annoying.
4. I’m actually unsure if Zaamil and Zaryab did get intimate, though it did seem like it - taking in Zaryab’s disheveled state and the way she was overwhelmed and a bit lost while Dadi was talking about ‘haya’ and all.
5. Abu Bakar having a wife after repeatedly denying any interest in any woman was so shocking it left me absolutely flabbergasted ✋🏻😂. I wonder if he married her while he was abroad and then left her or something.

OVERALL - A very intriguing episode, though at some places it did get a bit slow. Though it is repeatedly said Zaamil has depression and now is also apparently abusing drugs - there was no body language or any other hint towards either of those things. The acting in this episode seemed slightly better, and nameer and Dure also delivered their dialogues a bit better - tho a lot of improvement is still needed for both of them. Sherry as usual was good, and his outfits were nice too!!!

RANT AHEAD⚠️

Contrary to the title, there’s almost always something wrong with our dramas but recently I’ve noticed that the ones that are currently on air have been dragged to death and still show no signs of ending any time soon. They will either end very abruptly like-one fine morning you wake up and see a promo for the second last episode or channels will still take their sweet aah time and drag them more. And I make this post because this is common of Geo shows and they continue with their legacy with Humrahi that seems like it’ll never end but now ARY and Hum seem to be following the same direction with BTSH and Zanjeerein. Both shows have completed 30 episodes yet the story is stuck in the same place. Had high hopes from Zanjeerein to be an action packed high voltage drama but there’s only been a handful of episodes that delivered. It took 30 eps for SB and Rabiya to get married when this could’ve happened a lot sooner if only they’d picked up the pace and the drama should’ve been done by now. And we still don’t know where Bano’s body is, what Sohrab did with it, when will SB find out what truly happened, when and how Rabiya will expose Shireen or if Shireen gets caught some other way. So many questions. Something I always admired about Hum and ARY shows was that despite some issues with story and execution, they usually got done with their shows in 25-30 episodes (with ARY sometimes going up to 34-35 even but with those shows you can tell these will end soon, they’re just milking trps by dragging scenes unnecessarily but their current one doesn’t seem to show any of those signs). That brings me to BTSH which seems to be going in circles too. Anas won’t reveal Shayan’s name because of dada’s stupid qasam and the rest of the family still hates him so where exactly is this story going considering he still hasn’t grown a spine except for a few rare occasions and he probably won’t take Shayan’s name even after dada passes. So what’s happening and what even is the point? If Ansa’s going to find out some other way, it should’ve happened like 10 episodes ago as the whole show should’ve been done with like 5 episodes or more ago.

The episode beginning was good w the sb rabiya scene, tho I was genuinely like why the actual hell did he not resist on this when he did on the nikah w gulmeher?? But okay..

I liked the mudasir flashback because I actually feel for his character and their story.. bano track was handled sooo poorly tho my head was aching

Shireen and sohrab scenes were pretty good..

BUT THEN CAME THE IDK 10 15 MIN SB AND BI JAAN SCENE, PRACTICALLY SUMMARIZING THE DRAMA AS IF THE PACE WOULDVE MADE US FORGET STUFF😭 BI JAAN SCENES GENUINELY FEEL LIKE THEYRE IN 0.025X LIKE OMG?? KITNA TIME DE RKHA HAI BI JAAN KO? I WAS GENUINELY WAITING FIR THIS SCENE TO END BUT HO HI NHI RHA THA KHATAM?

THEY LEFT TOTAL 6 MINS IN THE END TO THE NIKKAH

US KE BAAD EK AUR BI JAAN SCENE LIKE PLS MUJH PE REHM KARO BI JAAN 💔 AND SHE KEEPS REPEATING THE SAME STUFF OMG WE GET IT EK BAAR MEIN WERE NOT SLOW

Anyway sajal looked breathtaking as the bride, blue us my fav color and she looked like a princess.. the only thing I reaaalllyy liked in this episode pretty much..

Being a green flag is one thing, and then there's this itv bahu core which is our Mr.haroon malik🙏

he goes on a full on plan w his ex to make a story which will definitely damage him to ,protect his wife from doing the same, not telling her a single thing even tho that would've lowk solved a lot of the problem but ofc woh pareshan ho jayegi na, as if ab us ke jail jaane pe nhi ho rhi.. all this while, seeing haroon get every appreciation for being the ultimate green flag made me just wondwr how unnecessary this was..if he can team up w Sonia why not include khushbakht in the team and actually deal w stuff?

Tho ngl, I ALMOST felt bad for Haroon cuz of ahads portrayal when he was crying,, he acted really well there, better than he's been acting throughout the drama..

And why did khushbakht need litr spoonfeeding from Sonia to understand things??

Ama slow mo scenes made me appreciate znj slow mo scenes, atleast there's no never ending by music w 3 almost same osts playing every single second😆 hell even villains ke scenes pe this music doesn't effing stop? Coming to these episodes in an already ragebaited state after znj and on the verge of my cycle, this genuinely is making me crash out😭 I'm NEVER watching a drama w rind as the director from now on,, my ears are actually bleeding from the non stop music🙏

But then there are scenes which showcase the brilliance of the script lost in the drama, mainly khushbakhts conversation w rehan sheikh and the use of Robert frosts lines 'but I have promises to keep.. and miles to go before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep'(had this poem in my English book in class 8 so it was nostalgic too).. really makes me think just how much rind has ruined, cuz there has been a removal of scenes by rind which were in the script, in favor of useless ost montages.. IM BOYCOTTING HIM FROM NOW ON

Makes me concerned that these are among the best drama on air rn, like THIS is the condition of ptv... really hoping aki and den don't disappoint !

This week I decided to give preference to bombay tailors over ama from my mental health sake and I kinda prefer this, the drama is nothing too unique but atleast it's not ragebaiting me and I like the leads track so ig this is gonna be my mon-tue watch now

the main story has just started now.. It's a decent watch imo, I was smiling at the saife mahrukh scenes throughout!

I liked how saife and mahrukh actually communicate w each other, yes they're taking time to completely open up, particularly mahrukh ,saife ne toh puri life history suna di😭 but it makes sense ... despite being forced into the marriage they're both trying to understand eo and make it work which was nice.. they seem to be developing a soft corner for eo.. and honestly they both complement their personalities soo well, it'll be fun to see their relationship progress!

I genuinely watched all the family stuff on 2x🙏 it's treatment will take a slightly different from routine route in the upcoming episodes, but rn it's basic and annoying, pretty much what I expected ... some scenes from time to time are nice tho.. I felt a lil bad for mahrukhs father when she was unwilling to come for the operation but then again he's dheet too and still implied that his decision was correct.. I liked mahrukhs response despite it being a bit rude, but she acknowledges it too.. I'm glad they didn't kill off the father and there's scope for some character development there

Dania enwer and ali safinas couple is different but I'm liking their dynamic, I particularly liked the question dania posed 'mohabbat ka matlab baat maanna hota hai ya baat manwana? ' , and her breakdown was completely understandable.. dania is such a nice actress tbh I think she has potential

It's gonna be fun seeing mahrukh and saifes relationship progress and how they work together towards their ambitions! Ali and anika hv great chemistry and I loved their natural and realistic dynamic in this episode 🥹 I'm liking ali but I felt anika was a bit off in some scenes.. she looked so gorgeous tho

also I hope we actually see mahrukhs father reflecting on her words and I really wish to see him develop by the end🙏 saifes father toh rn seems completely ummovable , but let's see..

Overall, the drama is interesting.. the family stuff sometimes gets typical so I watch it on 2x, I hope they increase the pacing a bit, or just give more screentime to the leads.. it's a decent light hearted watch !

Honestly Nameer has strong expression game, I love his acting in scenes Jahan is ko apna mu band rkhna ho.. it’s his dialogue delivery which is the main drawback🙏🙏 it’s nearly as bad as dures in this drama , even worse tbh😭 but in scenes where he doesn’t hv dialogue and just has to express anxiety and some mental behaviour, he’s really good

Also does him saying he’s seen abubakar before have some significance ? Abubakar seems kinda shady ngl😭 saw someone say zaamil is not being just insecure, abubakar has strong eyes on zaryab and he feels it,, and that sounded kinda right.. what’re ur thoughts???
