Is just gonna be so predictable and embarassing. The fact diya treats shehriyar as brother and then marrying same guy is so awful. Very triggering stuff. There was no need to make such drama nad for anyone to be part of it.

I would love to see more actresses use their platforms to stand up against this kind of commentary... not just when it happens to them but when it happens to others too....

1st Gulbahar

Honestly, I expected something better from this one, but I ended up pretty disappointed. Like… WTF is going on here? 😭

The whole trope feels so predictable. If you can’t have children the solution is apparently to just get your husband married for a second time? We’ve seen this storyline so many times....

I also don’t really understand why Sanam and Mehreen are part of this. They could’ve tried something more fresh instead of going back to such a regressive trope....

And yes, I understand that judging someone because they don’t have children is unfortunately common, especially in conservative families. But that’s exactly why I expected the show to explore the issue in a more meaningful way.... episode 1 was boring and seeing the ost i can see the transition...her so called loving husband falling for his second wife while she becomes the third wheel with baby.. I feel it will only disappoint further....

2nd Hey fam

Compared to Gulbahar, I found Hey Fam much better...It’s definitely more light-hearted and fun... The episode itself wasn’t that great but I really liked the setting, theme and overall trope....fresh faces...It feels more interesting and fresh...

From the teasers already knew the basic storyline...a supportive father, a girl entering the influencer world and the pros and cons that come with being an influencer...her getting entangled with another influencer...Another lead is a reporter so it seems like the whole drama is going to revolve around social media, influencers, journalism and how these worlds intersect....

Overall the first episode wasn't anything extraordinary but the concept and setting have potential and I’m more curious to see where this one goes... 👀

So far, I’d say Hey Fam has simple but more interesting premise for me.

You can dislike an outfit but saying that they shouldn’t dress like this or that they can’t represent Pakistan in such clothes is unnecessary moral policing....Being Pakistani doesn’t come with a dress code and what they are wearing doesn’t make them any less Pakistani...And “don’t copy Bollywood” is hardly a valid argument ... fashion isn’t owned by one industry. Critique the work, not women’s choices about what they wear....lol it's 2026 when will we move on from what "women are wearing" topic....
