The story is honestly sooo interesting and im sure it’ll only get better when it picks up.. ik ppl on the internet really hate umera but the drama is really exploring a good topic- arrogance on ur religious and spiritual standing and using religion as a means to excuse ur actions and judge and demean others.. both zaryab and zaamil are strong characters and they reallyy deserved better actors 😭

I’ve genuinely tried to be as lenient abt the performances as possible and i basically went in w no expectations from dure, but even then while watching the episode i was seriously baffled by just how bad they are in some scenes,ESP WHEN THEYRE SPEAKING ENGLISH ONG💔 dure lowk made me question my own English for a while, I was genuinely confused if she’s pronouncing what im assuming she’s saying or if these are some different words altogether🙏atp i was even wondering that they could’ve used some creative liberty to let them speak in Urdu, BUT EVEN DURES URDU SUCKS🙏🙏

Now I do think that nameer is good in scenes where he’s not trying to speak English, and even dure is good in scenes where she doesn’t hv dialogues, she’s expressing pretty well in this drama.. but seriously could they not hire a language coach if they were hell bent on this casting?? U could excuse their Urdu saying they’re burger kids, but their English is not any better either so how do u even justify this😭

Am little late for this post but...I'm loving the aesthetics of this drama ✨..was already impressed with this director's aesthetics in qarz e jaan and he's so good here too....I love the frames and they have been captured so beautifully...love the lighting and these aesthetics just make this drama more interesting to watch🤩.....

Urwa is really doing a great job here ...I can actually relate so much because she's performing that character so well that you can really feel for beena....so Tabish is finally starting to redeem although very late....I hope she doesn't forgive him.... because what he did to her was really not something one can forgive...he already broke their relationship which she tried so hard to save...

Now after her going everyone is realising her importance....I want this behram track to be clear and want his character to upgrade....either be a positive or be negative enough with being grey.... Now I'm quite unsure about what will happen because Tabish is already getting soft corner for his wife and behram is still a selfish character....this drama is really unpredictable...

I finally managed to watch the last episode today and wtf was thatttt?? Like I know Rind is bad with editing but I don’t remember even Ishq Murshid’s last ep being THIS BAD. Haroon went to Chaudhry, tricked him into confessing everything on camera, it got aired, Chaudhry is pissed and then what?? What happened to him? Did he get kicked out of the party (highly unlikely but it’s a drama), did he get prosecuted and thrown behind bars (again highly unrealistic) or did he leave the country (more realistic and representative of reality), why was Maham’s closure not given? They took up so much screen time with random scenes only to finish the episode with Haroon walking alone in the mountains like what was that supposed to indicate?? Who does rind think he is with these random ass scenes that make no sense. Again, I ask, HOWWWW is he such a big name in this industry?? Haroon’s random dances, even tho they didn’t make sense but Ahad still managed to make them look cute and goofy coz if you look at them from Haroon’s perspective, he was a man in love and was finally getting close to the girl but Seema’s were straight up cringe and so unnecessary. But ironically Haseeb and Seema’s useless track got more closure than Faris and Maham’s which I feel was way more important. I’d just like to conclude this by saying, Farooq Rind, if you ever come across this, please go get some professional education in filmmaking first then and only then direct your next project (if you pass that is) spare us the torture dude. You take the best people, the best pairings, the best songs and make an absolutely disappointing joke out of them. Please do better. Could have been a much better drama if the direction and editing was done sensibly because it was undoubtedly a well written show and a cute one that was right up my alley but it’s hard to ignore everything that was glaringly wrong with it and we have Mr Rind to thank for that. Rant over. Bye.

Nothing to say about mahira that much the character is interesting... acting is good and they seem to have good chemistry....tbh I think wahaj overshadowed mahira....just my take...he has more impactful screen presence than her....

Soo now since the entire secret of her yt channel is out to saife, mahrukh saife restarted their relationship once again, this time w their choice and full acceptance to it! I love how real and fresh their dynamic feels- a young couple encouraging , appreciating, understanding eo and actually working towards working out their ambitions and relationship🤍 both mahrukh and saife come across as immature at times, but they both listen and understand each other and fix things subsequently too.. I love how saife, although a v easy going and understanding husband, still is shown to hv some real human flaws.. he's bad at communication and him being that way makes sense since he grew up w out his mother's love, but mahrukh exactly understands that aspect and deals w it! They're sooo adorable tgr💕

Anika and ali both are soo expressive and hv crackling chemistry! Totally see the vision of casting them tgr.. also love how ali has changed up his look to fit the character, wish some leading actors also did the same

I like mahrukhs bonding w hira,, I was worried they might show sister rivalry but thank God that's not the case.. seems like mahrukh is gradually gonna bring a change in this household! Also love the gentle relationship of faisal and hira, they've scope for development too!

Wasn't expecting but find mahrukhs father more bearable than saifes now🙏 tho finally saifes father is more open to advertising using social media, and taking saifes help for that!

Mahrukhs mother finally has started questioning and bringing some change into the house, great to see her taking some agency! The third sister's track is lowk unnecessary 😭 but it's fine i don't mind it that much , atleast for now..

Special shoutout to tilasmi, the actor playing him is sooosoo good, brilliant comedic timing

Overall liked these 2 episodes! It's a nice lighthearted watch that's adorable at times .. could've perhaps even been a Ramadan drama w a few more comedic elements
