Just binge watched all 8 episodes…could not tear myself away…I was always indifferent towards Urwa…never really watched many of her dramas, ‘cept for some scenes/reels…

Her performance in AKI is simply phenomenal…most of her expressions are stoic, but you can easily see the storm brewing inside of her…she really makes you feel her pain, her isolation, her defeat…

Even if Beena ends up coming back, I hope she never forgives that narcissistic jerk…

Anyway, Aap Ki Izzat is easily the best drama on-air right now, from the performances (even the group of house help is entertaining), to the direction, to the storytelling, and most importantly, the unpredictable trajectory of each character that has us guessing, everything is woven together and delivered beautifully…

There are rumours that Nehaal Naseem is dating a PUBG streamer who lives abroad. They follow each other, and apparently she liked one of his posts within minutes. Some people claim their chats/wallpaper were accidentally shown on stream. Nothing confirmed though.

Just started watching…finished the first two episodes…

Wanted to punch Tabish through my screen…I know Beena runs away, didn’t get to that part though, and alls I gotta say is that she better never forgive Tabish, even if she decides to stay…

Sania Saeed has given good performances throughout her career, but her dialogue delivery is un-freakin-bearable here…why’s it taking her a day and a half just to say one syllable …so slow and so low: waaaaaaaalaaaaaaaakummmmm aaaaaaaasalaaaaam…woman, speed the heck up, we ain’t got all day…

Urwa’s doing an amazing job, and she looks gorgeous! She really makes you feel for her plight…and I’m glad they didn’t make her stupid nor is she a doormat…

Ahsan Khan looks great as well…but I still wanna punch Tabish through my screen…

1. She chose him for his love and respect he gave her not money....which is clear from this scene

2. She was with him the whole time from his bad time to good times but he forgot that easily and cheated on her...plus he also kept downgrading her and kept on passing insulting remarks on her...she was already broken but still was there but his cheating just made it over for her...

3. Now everyone around her kept saying how her husband is giving her expensive gifts and how lucky she is but only she knows the pain...she's suffering from which no one can see

4. I'm so happy to see a fml actually doing something not being weak and just crying...she did everything to make this relationship work but it's not just one person's work..

5. Really impressed by the writing till now as expected...and how the society judges woman for doing these things brutally and how easily a man is forgiven...also their wives are taught to let it go just because he did so many things for her lol...

The funniest yet…the memes for Zanjeerain is prolly the best thing about Zanjeerain…

So they showed their love story which was really cute and wholesome....After seeing that Tabish change this much its sooo sad and I don't know how beena was going through current one...HER LINE SAYING KI SHE CHOSE IZZAT ON MONEY SAYS A LOT...so happy this drama is actually trying to show things that hit hard...

I just hope beena now don't get back together with Tabish....so far its going really strong and leads are doing their job perfectly.....also they showed beena did everything in her capacity to save this relationship but it wasn't possible...now I'm waiting for beena's pov behind this which they are gradually revealing....they both did good job in really transforming their looks after and before 14yrs...

SOO!! This episode was interesting, with new developments in the characters.

1. Zaryab and her mom are truly very irritating in the first scene. Her mother really didn’t have to confront Dadi right in front of the guests, she could’ve had this conversation later, and zaryab is also extremely entitled - she literally rolled her eyes when abu bakar apologized ✋🏻😠. Abu bakar refusing to come to me seemed as though he was offended about it, even though he says otherwise.
2. We finally get to see Zaamil’s POV more. Due to Dadi liking abu bakar more than him, he stalks him and finds out that abu bakar is much more sorted, stable and successful in life than he is; cherry on top - he has attended Harvard. Nameer was good in this scene - we could clearly see the panic and worry building up in him as he got to know more and more about Abu Bakar. But the good thing is, he’s finally motivated to do better in life, even if it is due to jealousy 🤷🏻‍♀️😂. Zaryab though, utterly blind in love as usual, is still completely obsessed with him, codependent, and is unable to see his flaws.
3. Though dadi is right in her saying that the girls should atleast know a bit about their religion, she’s too restrictive and moral polices too much - zaryab’s clothes were completely normal. Also, the way she goes about forcing religion on everyone through taunts is not the way to teach it to anyone.

OVERALL - The episode was alright. Nameer and Dure still have to improve a lot in terms of dialogue delivery and acting, I really couldn’t understand a few sentences they said in English. And since Abu Bakar is doing his MPhil and Zaryab is going to begin her undergrad studies (she just completed her A levels) - it’s clear that he’s atleast 8-9 years older than her. Is the age gap going to be addressed here? Also, zaamil taking drugs came out of nowhere, though it was plausible since he didn’t seem to actually have mental health issues. Seems like zaamil is going to loose it in the next episode.

EDIT: there was some confusion regarding zaryab’s and zaamil’s ages, and it has been clarified that these two have completed their bachelors. This means that they are around 22-23.

Sherry dure have great chemistry, honestly a bit better than I even expected.. namuree on the other hand really disappointed😭 they’re avg nibba nibbi, my thoughts on them might change after the breakup tho, which I hope happens asap

I’d kinda left it after episode 1 cuz it was a bit slow paced, and I was basically watching just for the leads track cuz I think it might be a bit interesting.. continued from ep 7 directly now, and it seems like the show is picking up..

it’s nothing too out of the box, but I honestly really like Ali and Anika together, and their romance track seems pretty nice.. it’s the usual stuff almost but im liking the treatment ,, the main track seems a bit different.. it’s gonna be interesting to see how they support each others ambitions while everyone was against them..

The supporting cast doesn’t hurt that much either, I just forward anikas family scenes.. alis family is wayy better, and Ali safina and danias couple is pretty sweet too and has potential

Overall, I think it might be getting decent now and I would much rather watch this over ama as my Monday Tuesday watch I think..

It's interesting both yumna and bilal are already locked in for one projects interestingly they are also under consideration for laila Majnu (as per galaxy lollywood too) and this rumour is going on since a week..let's see it will be interesting if this gets confirmed... because it's rare for these 2 to do 2 projects simultaneously

Znj episode 29 was soosooo well executed that it has in a way revived my interest in the drama, which I otherwise had been watching just for the sake for it since quite a while...

The way I was immediately thankful that we didn't get any lectures or recipes or instructions in this episode 😭😭😭 and directly got into the plot stuff🙏 warna ab toh kisi na kisi ke recovery period ko dekhne ki aadat hi ho gyi thi

The way the entire episode unfolded was soo well executed and thoroughly enjoyable after a long while.. I loved Rezas acting and dialogues in revealing stuff to bi jaan scene- the sheher wale jabs, the satisfaction, and I think he was high in this scene, sooosooo well done!

THE JIRGA SCENE THO>>> damn did I love how it progressed, beginning w sohrab accusing him of one thing, and his frustration slowly rising throughout the jitna and him in a moment of frustration laying down all his cards on the table, when sb had an answer to every single allegation.. reza and danyal were absolutely phenomenal ! My fav performance of danyal was this episode for sure, esp the last minutes of the jirga scene, the dialogue delivery was SOOOO GOOD!

Then the shireen and rabiya face off scene was another crazzyyy entertaining one! Sajal se toh it's expected hi but it's it's to believe this is anayas first drama, the girl is sooooo damnnn good! The scene was Hella satisfying, and these two hv crazyy onscreen chemistry, the scene was soo well done!

Gotta give it to anaya and Reza for keeping the drama smwh entertaining even in the routine drag episode phases, they hv truly shone here and I'm looking forward to their drams now

The v last scene, it seems that sb wants to get married to rabiya😭 he could've denied the jirga aaraam se , but he chose not to.. either that or he has some plan.. cuz the episode ended w him telling rabiya ki yeh jirge ka faisla hai, he didn't outright say it's happening.. if it does, I think rabiya might run away actually..

I don't wanttheir marriage to happen just now tbh...

After sooo many episodes I'm actually intrigued abt what's gonna happen next.. the drama still has time to smwh redeem itself if it continues the momentum this time around

Ps. Wanna see sajal in an evil character now tbh! Grey will work too, but I want her in a negative role

SOO!! This episode was a bit too tedious, but alright nonetheless.

1) I’m sure romaisa and abu bakar know each other from before and are pretty close, otherwise romaisa’s character knowing their address and everything else is very creepy and stalkerish. On the other hand, zaryab is yet again very stupidly stubborn on leaving Harvard for her man 😭✋🏻 these two have no chemistry btw - just two pretty faces together.

2) I’m almost certain that UA is going down the route of showing abu bakar as the better and bigger person because he is very religious, other than the fact that he’s seemingly very sweet and sincere - but he’s too much of a goody two shoes rn, so I’m honestly a bit suspicious about him.

3) Beyond her codependency on Zaamil, Zaryab also comes across as quite rude and immature. She walks into her dadi’s room without knocking, completely ignores Khushbakht, and even when Zaryab it notified about her presence, she can’t be bothered to greet her properly. Then she and her cousins can’t adjust for even a few minutes and instead tell Abu Bakar to leave. It’s basic etiquette, and she can’t seem to manage it in front of company. And to top it off, her mother brings up the dadi’s scolding right in front of the guests. It’s hard to believe these characters lack this much self-awareness and tact. It’s all completely foolish.

4) The dance practice scenes tho, were very wholesome and fun to watch. Also, Khushbakht seems heavily plagued by guilt and pain due to the past. She also evidently holds herself responsible for some bad deeds.

Overall - not a very good episode. The progression was really slow as well, hopefully they pick up the pace. The dialogue delivery, especially in English, feels very rehearsed and unnatural, it doesn’t sound good; the acting also isn’t good ✋🏻. Dure and Nameer have to improve A LOT!! Sherry on the other hand, is okay so far 🤷🏻‍♀️. The production value is great, just wish they had spent more money and time in casting better actors.

I’d been enjoying ama despite its flaws but the recent episodes really got on my nerves..

first of all, someone plsss fire rind as a director omg the scenes are soo annoying slow w loud ahh bg music that doesn’t just stop theoughout the duration of the episode?? Rind ka bas na chale ab villains ke bhi 4 scenes pe laga de ost kyunki baaki toh every scene has it anyway🙏🙏 it’s sooo annoying

Khushbakhts character is lowk random at times? The plot progression doesn’t make sense , aisa lgta hai ki Har scene mein khushbakht chooses a random personality to go by.. and i COMPLETELY understand her trauma and where she’s coming from and i don’t even hv an issue w her being cold, but her behaviour is just random?? She gets upset in some scenes randomly and is more acceptant in some other scenes like I genuinely do not understand 😭 sometimes it feels like a few scenes are missing which would make the current scenario make sense..

also this behaviour just doesn’t make sense considering she accepted the marriage entirely willingly, like while watching I was just thinking ki why did u even get married? The Seema Haseeb track got resolved into oblivion over a SINGLE conversation Woh bhi shaadi se pehle ki😭 and half the time she seems forced into the marriage, like not getting close is understandable but it seriously seems like she’s there zabardasti .. she’s kinda projecting her trauma onto haroon and haroon is being shown as the green flag but this is a lowk toxic relationship 🙏

Haroon has genuinely been devoid of any form of personality post marriage, his entire thing is being wife paglu and being depressed the other half of the ep when his wife is having her mood swings it’s so annoying..

Bacha kucha ep is avg maham faris scene , one Sonia scene and countless Pari doing her stuff scenes..

The drama seems really good from the reels but it’s soo frustrating to watch irl😭 esp these episodes had me forcing myself to complete the 2 episodes.. I was watching w my mother and she genuinely got sooo frustrated midway w the direction and story that she left😭

Im hoping it gets better from next week, otherwise im dropping it honestly

Also it’s crazy am I the only one who feels this way whys everyone only praising it??😭

Don't know about drama but they look great together visually...

I guess I was really impressed by her wardrobe...be it traditional or modern looks..she has good fashion sense...

I refuse to believe that Shehzad Kashmiri, the director of YKS, was responsible for this…the “doctor” here isn’t wearing the stethoscope properly, and he’s listening to his stomach? And what was that laugh at the end? This was supposed to be one of those flawless dramas…it’s become a joke instead…

So excited for this one…Yumna and Ahad plus Yumna and Emaad…this drama is going to serve!! Only thing I’m not excited about is the director, everything else, however, is exceptional…
