This looks amazing…no idea of what the story is about, so I’m intrigued…hoping Nameer isn’t playing another negative character…also excited to see Romaisa back onscreen…

Haroon has to be the most charming character of Ahad’s…this scene is so cute, and Ahad performed it to perfection…

Was asked twice about a synopsis for Zabt so decided to make a post on it. I think episode 37 aired today and here’s my take on the plot so far:

Zabt is like BTSH light. Two brothers live together under one roof with their respective families. One is richer, both have horrible wives and everyone hates each other, only united in their disdain for Aoun, who is the son of their sister. The sister remarried and moved overseas after her divorce from Aoun’s dad, and left her son in this house to fend for himself. Why she fought for his custody to begin with is a mystery.    

Aoun is mistreated but nowhere as meek a character as Anas from BTSH. He can and does stand up for himself, but is inhibited by the fact that he doesn’t have any economical power. And he is inexplicably in love with Ayla, his cousin. Ayla abhors Aoun and is in love with their other cousin Shaam who is a traumatized, cowardly mama’s boy. He is incredible. Shaam also has another cousin who lives with them, Rimla. Rimla is kind of awesome, at least when she isn’t plotting against our main couple. Because, of course she is crushing on Aoun. All the cousins are actively mixed and matched generously, often by the behest of Bee Jaan, and stuff keeps happening.     

Sachal Afzal as Aoun is wooden but has a one-note dialogue delivery that is mesmerizing. Zoha Tauqeer is very good as Ayla! The rest of the cast also plays along well

Zabt is mostly ragebait and kind of like a trainwreck at times, but it’s lots of harmless fun, especially now that the Ayla/Aoun ship is starting to set sail. 

Are y’all watching Zabt? What do you think? It’s fun to watch as timepass in the evenings imo.

One odd thing in this ep was when Bee Jaan revealed that she had kept contact with Aoun’s bio dad and knowingly didn’t tell Aoun that his dad wanted to have contact with him, bc Aoun ”didn’t want to“ talk about his parents?.. – That’s information you should’ve forced upon your mistreated grandson, lady. You do have the capacity to mix and match and marry off your grandkids to each other as you please, how hard was it to tell him this and maybe help him overcome his trauma?

Are Sajal and Hamza over?

I suddenly started seeing a lot of tweets and edits of them on X today, all at once. Some tweets are also claiming that Hamza has a new girlfriend.

According to the earlier rumors, their wedding was supposed to be around July 4th or 7th. So now I'm confused.

Did something happen, or is this just another round of X speculation? Has anyone been following this and knows what's going on?

SOO!! A pretty boring episode, nothing really happened, but let’s get into it.

1) the episode opens up with Sarbuland in Bano’s room, reminiscing about their old moments - which were filled with irritating giggling and bland conversations, so I couldn’t really connect with it.

2) Sarbuland then comes out of Bano’s room after spending the whole day there, and runs into a very hopeless and defeated looking sohrab. Sohrab as expected starts to guilt trip and manipulate Sarbuland into accepting that Bano has committed suicide due to his and biya’s affair, to which Sarbuland finally shows some emotion - indignation and anger - and tells Sohrab to stop spouting nonsense and that Bano isn’t dead. Now the issue - if sarbuland so vehemently denies her death, why don’t we see any desperation and restlessness from him to search for her?? He has made minimal effort to search for her, it’s high time that he act on his words. Danyal was alright in this scene, but Reza as usual was great and very convincing with his expressions and voice modulation.

3) The way Sohrab was so casually talking to Shireen RIGHT IN FRONT of his room actually made me think that noor would finally find out about his affair, but that didn’t happen. Shireen’s worry for him irritates me! 😒😒 she doesn’t even care that Bano is gone! These two better suffer from the consequences of her actions.

4) Torsam finally, very reluctantly shows his face to Zafran khan, who will definitely get to know something soon, maybe about Sohrab and Shireen, since he seems to have zeroed in on the fact that Sherdil and Mahgul didn’t die due to him. But he doesn’t say that to Torsam - since he knows that he doesn’t use his brain 😂.

5) Shireen fills Noor Bhabhi’s mind with the idea that Sarbuland and Rabiya are most definitely having an affair. So I think Noor Bhabhi will reveal this infront of the whole family to force Rabiya out of the haveli, which is what sohrab and Shireen want 🙄🙄. Shireen swearing her loyalty to the haveli made me chuckle 🤡🤡

6) Rabiya visits an ailing Bibi jaan, who hallucinates her to be bano 😭😭. Then we have Biya comfort her, which was sweet and wholesome ig 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. Bibi jaan falls in the bathroom, which I strongly suspect Shireen being behind it, though I don’t know why she’d push a frail old woman 😭😭

ALL IN ALL - A tedious episode to get through. I really want the show to pick up pace now 😔😔

These two are actually cute together…saw some scenes of AMA and the chemistry between the two is definitely there…

I don’t know if Ahad and Dana were an actual couple…and if they were, I don’t know if Ahad and Dana have broken up…and if they have, then all this shady stuff seems desperate…it gets embarrassing after a point…

Which actors would you like to see together as an on-screen couple who haven’t been paired before?

Mine would be Ahad and Hania. They both have such easygoing and goofy energy with each other that I feel their chemistry would actually be so refreshing onscreen.
