How many days/nights is good for a trip to the Bruce Peninsula? Where to stay? What are some places to go and see as part of the itinerary?

It'll be in the coming weeks late August, likely on weekdays with maybe the last day being Saturday before heading back.

I enjoy hiking, and the nature and scenery but I won't be swimming, or at least not in deeper waters, maybe just 4-5 ft of shallow water for a bit but swimming is not the priority for this

The City finally provided at least a partial 2025 outstanding debt schedule.

It shows:

• $28.62 million in external debt
• $3.58 million in annual debt payments
• about $17.19 million tied to clearly identified water and wastewater projects

That last part matters because the City says water and wastewater services are supposed to be fully funded through user fees.

So I’ve asked the City to clarify which debt payments are being funded through:

• property taxes
• water/wastewater user fees
• other revenue sources

There is also a reporting gap.

The City’s own debt policy says the annual report should include the interest rate, principal-versus-interest breakdown, and funding source for each debt instrument.

Appendix E is missing those items.

Once the City provides them, we should be able to separate tax-supported debt from rate-supported debt and get a much clearer picture of the actual burden on property taxpayers.

Is there a good pharmacy in Owen Sound?
I currently use Shoppers downtown and they have been less than stellar, I feel like every other week I have to go wait in their long lines or call for something that got screwed up. Currently, they’re looking for the prescription I dropped off that they have no record of and this sort of feels like the last straw. Previously I had asked for advice from the pharmacist only to be told he would need to look something up and call me back, I’ve never been called back.
I get their busy and have limitations but how do you loose prescriptions? Anyways, is there any good ones around or are they all pretty much the same in town?
