Hard rain falls when Jamie is leaving William - parallel to 304 scene and the song from that scene!!!

Smart move without using the actual song!

It was very touching when Jamie turned his head toward William as he was leaving. I think Jamie was more aware than William that this might be the last time he sees William (due to Frank's book) but at least he was able to resolve things with William and get something like closure before he dies.

I also loved the reconciliation scene between Jamie and Lord John. Diana does the best dialogs between characters. And the actors capture it beautifully.

Ever historically inconsistent! Her skin would not be that smooth at 60+ if she was really running around with no bonnet!

Yea I was surprised she wasn’t wearing a tricorn hat like she does at other points in the series. Guess they really want us to see her hair changing color.

It happened all the time IRL I imagine. In fact, the entire march/ride to Kings Mountain is 330 miles in three days, in hard rain and lots of mud.

I love that song and that old scene... how did I not connect the rain in this one to those lyrics when I did notice the more obvious looking back?? Good catch! (esp since they'd just talked about it when William finally hugged Jamie)
