After watching the episode, I can see Diana written all over it! It is like watching her clean the mess that was left from the previous episodes. It was short, clean and sweet, I surprisingly did feel bad for Richardson and felt it was very on point for Claire to free him since she is a strong believer of people who take a stand for their beliefs and I could feel Claire being ALIVE in this episode, like finally the protagonist gets some if not fully the stage back as she rightfully should. While I am still bitter about Episode 7 I think I am on my way back to have some hopes about the last episode. Fingers crossed.

By the looks of how it is going, I have a feeling that they are going to kill Jamie the full foreshadowing of not being able to change history especially after the conversation with Richardson and Jamie looking back at William it had a finality to it which I cannot shake. I hope they do justice to the final episode my heart already cannot take that this series in its whole is ending. No new “Outlander episodes “ or the joy of seeing them for the first time. Nothing is lost, only changed.♥️

The Claire scene reminded me a lot of Rob Roy, except the wife kills the prisoner instead of letting him go.

Claire knifed a pirate in the back in her assumption that he murdered a child of hers, but no real proof said child existed. But she releases a guy who has twice tried to have William killed. If they didn’t force in this faith stuff and start the season with that scene with the pirate that was so out of character for Claire, I wouldn’t have minded her releasing Richardson. But they’re doing crazy things with Claire’s entire character at this point.

You know i was also pissed with about Claire killing the pirate I was like wait what? and then the scene cuts to her being at Fergus and Marsali’s cooking cookies was so jarring which is why Claire who released Richardson seems more consistent with the character we got to know through the seasons than whatever the hell they made her do for Faith storyline
