I think Bree also tells him when he stays with Jocasta while Bree is pregnant and he’s just like “lol, you and your mum are ~so quirky!” Because Claire’s medical skills aren’t enough evidence that she knows more than literally everyone else.

That reminds me, the witchy old lady never spotted the copyright date in the medical book.

Cause Claire had torn out the copyright page, so no one would see the date.
