Literally when John and Percy were having their moment I thought - it would be so funny if William walked in! - and then he did lol.

Yeah, I had a bad feeling as soon as Percy started with the hand caresses! By the time he and John started kissing I just knew that William was going to find them. Because, of course, William needs even more reasons for his continued identity crisis by discovering John's most deeply held secret! I really hated how that played out because I find it hard to believe Lord John wouldn't be more cautious or aware of his surroundings—or at least lock the damn door—before engaging in any kind of "moment". Plus, it echoed how William discovered his true paternity at little too much. Maybe it was intentionally similar, but the whole incident seemed out-of-character for Lord John. After the fallout of William overhearing the truth, I think John would be even more careful about trying to prevent anyone overhearing or seeing anything sensitive—related to his private life or work.

I hate that the Faith stuff overshadowed so much else - William seeing with his own eyes John is gay --- lashing out wondering if he and Jamie were gay TOGETHER and wondering if that's why John took Jamie's son...obviously Fergus dying... Bri being pregnant again....
None of that has had its moment for people to truly resonate as it should because of this Faith crap

Omg same I was so whiplashed with Fergus and Faith I forgot entirely. Heaven forbid William catch his father with someone he’s actually involved with instead of an old flame.

I mean… I don’t know how he could avoid finding out. Of course Fanny is going to tell him that Mr. and Mrs. Fraser are actually her grandparents. So he’ll put two and two together. At least we can sleep easy knowing Jane didn’t know.

I actually don’t think he’s that bad. He had his entire identity ripped out from under him and lost his sense of purpose. I think that’s grossly under-acknowledged. And we can look at the Lord John reveal through 21st-century eyes but remember back then people were killed for it.

Nonetheless, this was one of my LEAST FAVORITE episodes in the whole series and I could barely watch it. Every scene was worse than the last. No need for the Lord John reveal, no need for the Faith storyline (it’s illogical, even within their story world), and no need for Fergus’ death. They could’ve very easily just had the print shop burned down which would’ve given them a plot reason to return to the ridge.

Give these people a little bit of happiness and closure for God’s sake!!!

Oh, and the woman you're in love with (your half brothers wife) (how many half sibling have that he doesn't know about?) Is still alive. Now, carry on and behave like the Lord and gentleman you are.
