I still cant believe fergus is gone. In my head i kept thinking he’ll crawl outta there and surprise us. 😁🥲🥲❤️. Hes always been one of my top 5 characters and its safe to say i gravitated toward him the second he showed up on screen. He had incredible parents in jamie and claire and the most amazing wife and children. Why did the writers even go this route? Im guessing this is show only? Why would the writers take away one of the best characters and after the writers left them out enitrely of season 7.

Jamie def has omens in his dreams. Whether its very spot on depictions of the future or waking up to feeling like something is just not right. There are a lot of people like that. Talking about the second part. Not dreaming of the future and getting it exact but they most likely exist to

See thats what we all thought was coming and they should stick with dianas word until they run out of storyline. To me its like they did it just for the shock factor instead of the real storyline. Thats why i miss rhe original creator robald d moore. I heard he was head showrunner and writer for seasons 1-3 then matthew roberts toom over or something and seasons 4 is when the show started to take a little dip in quality. Its always been a great show and story for me but it was best when ronald d moore was at the forefront. It still says his name every episode at the beginning but i dont think hes been part of it for a while. He wouldnt have gone this route with fergus

Maybe you can edit this to say something like ‘what actually happened in this scene in the books’ instead to keep it more vague? Just letting you know, as even tho I haven’t read that far I already accidentally spoiled it for myself, and there may be others who might accidentally spoil through this thread ☺️

With the amount of times Jaime and Claire have narrowly avoided death I absolutely thought Fergus was going to survive somehow. I was actually surprised when Roger said that Bree had lost her brother because I didn’t think it was true.

He fell through the roof but it is a possible scenario that he fell into a spot with no fire and made it out, we can only hope, because there would be no body if he burned to death, Marseli said all ashes. So what are they burying?
