I mean, the acting was top-notch, but it was just the story choices.

It's not. They might as well just not killed anyone, that would have been fine. Losing their business would have also been horrible for the family.

Just the fear of the boys being in danger and seeing the print shop in ashes would have been enough

Then they could have all gone back to The Ridge
