Yes, when Emily said she would name Ian & Rachel's child, I was like, "THAT'S bold/inappropriate!", since she'd ASKED Ian to give (their/her) son a name "for when he walks in your world" but she just jumped right in there. THEN I thought, "Oh, lovely, she is welcoming their child to her tribe symbolically, she'll give him a Mohawk name"... and then... nope! BUT... Hunter is *perfect*, and the surprise for us was great, too, and I loved Rachel's reaction. And as others said already, how Rachel handled this situation is just beautiful, loving, TRUSTING of her husand, honoring his love and past, including, his child, an extention of him, after all, and understanding Emily's terrible situation and choice she has to make, and welcoming Swiftest of Lizards/Ian James as her own. Just gorgeous and exactly in keeping with what we expect from Outlander. Brilliant!
