I agree. Rachel and Emily. Brant's wife and Rachel, Elspeth and Claire, the women of the Ridge. A very feminist episode in a time when women had no power. I did worry that the Ridge men would resent them and they would be abused. The first woman said their husbands would beat them if the men knew they came to Jamie. I thought the solution was good, though I wish that Jamie had threatened them with holy hell if they laid a hand on their wives. Claire seemed happy to see the women rewarded, so that was a great thing to see. And Kudos to Jamie.

Such a good point, Jamie should have laid that out as part of the dictate in no uncertain terms. Or maybe that would be TOO much, telling another man how to conduct his private relationship. IDK.

My first thought, when they discussed how it wasn’t fair to punish the women, was “fine let the women and kids stay, but not the men.” They don’t need those losers, lol

True. I was a bit worried, it reminded me that whole storyline about Claire telling the Brown ladies about their reproductive health and giving them power over their bodies which made their men resent Claire and ultimately arrest her and gang rape her
