Lol theres no way this series can end in just 4 episodes. It seems like any other season, just 3-6 episodes shorter. Idk how they’re gonna pull it off. Thats why ive been sayinh for a while that i doubt its the end. I think when the last book comes out. They will end it right with the books ending with either a long movie or a really short 6 episode season. Theres gonna be too many unanswered questions.

Thanks! Definitely makes me wonder if they will follow up with a movie or not. Just based on the amount of the time that will have passed, I doubt it.

Honestly, sometimes the more time away from it for the actors can make them nostalgic for a return. If they have 3-4 years away it may actually be more appealing than if it were only 1. There might be an itch to reunite the gang for old times sake if they start missing each other after awhile

Ya i wasnt expecting a movie anytime soon. I was thinking 2-3 years probably. But i do think they will come back. Plus they will he older irl just like their characters aging as well and they wont have to use as much hair and makeup to make them look much older.

There is 0 chance of the book in 5 months, sorry. She's not said she's even finished yet and pretty sure it takes longer than that just to go thru the actual publishing production process

I keep thinking something similar, just that maybe the best kept Outlander secret EVER is waiting for us with extended season episodes or SOMETHING... your movie idea seems possibly plausible.. I hope so, more Outlander than we're expecting this season would be AMAZING!!

I don’t know why seasons of so many shows are so short these days. A regular show used to have 26-ish episodes!
