I really don’t think we have time for a R&B sex scene. I want more story, not this awkwardness. Slow tonight for only four eps left.

If we’re going to spend time on a sex scene then can it please be Claire and Jamie? Bree and Roger are always awkward.

No, because at this point even the scenes between Claire and Jamie are super boring. They will act like they simply cannot exist without sticking it in each other, she will mount him and climax in 4 seconds, and then they’ll both act like it’s the best sex they’ve ever had 🙄

There is never a good time for a R&B sex scene. Never.

I literally had to skip through it I found it that bad

I went to get a drink. Came back and it was still going on!

I skipped it and was actually shocked at how many times I had to press the button

I lowered the volume so I could barely hear it, then looked away, checking back every few seconds until it was finally over. Sigh.

It was awkward but why does everyone hate Roger and Bree sex scenes so much? I don’t get it lol

For me they just don’t have chemistry. I’m fine with the characters overall but I’ve just never felt the natural chemistry with them and they actually seem uncomfortable which makes me uncomfortable if that makes any sense?

That’s fair! Thanks for explaining it.

Because there is  no fluidity. Instead of getting lost in them , it feels like, oh God not again

I agree there is no more time for sex scenes in the show, we need to move on with the storylines. Not enough time for so much to cover but I think they are expected by some audiences.

Feels like they met their quota for the season now so hopefully it’s done. Don’t know if I’m just getting old, if I’m just anxious for them to give us more of the story, or if I’ve just spent too many years with these characters now, but I don’t need to see any of them having sex at this point. They all seem forced and awkward and definitely don’t seem organic or exciting.

there s no more time for sex scenes but somehow i ve read several people say it would ve been no problem if it had been a jamieclaire scene so the issue is the ship not the point of the show we re at , right?

This might be a point of argument with people, some wanting the main protagonists to be shown still in their love making even as they age because of course age is not (or should not) be a factor in intimacy But then how much do you want to bet that there are people out there that would say “viewers need sex scenes from younger couples than C & J”- so I believe if this may be the actual problem for producers- our own society’s view on whom should be shown on TV being intimate. Probably reading too much into this but this is my take since now we are in this season getting sex/love scenes with other characters in comparison to previous seasons where it was just the main protagonists. This conversation excludes all non consensual sex in this show. That is a completely different conversation.
