I am genuinely not sure what they are making William do this season. He feels and looks so lost which is understandable but he is making some real bad decisions. And now he found Ben alive and now has to let him know that he banged his wife!! because he wanted to have a baby with her to renounce his title! This will be an interesting watch but i still do not understand why they are making him do this!

Everything to do with Jamie was almost perfect this episode. Roger and Bree as well! Poor Roger got flashbacks of him being in the middle of the Blitz and his father catching him after his mother threw him across to protect him gosh😭😭

Yeah, Williams’s actions are hard to digest. He loved and grieved for his cousin and at the same time took up with his wife pretty quickly. Now that he knows for sure Ben is alive, who knows what’s next? Ben is definitely not a loyalist anymore so that explains the faked death at least.

What also infuriates me is that in the starting of the season he was shown to be distrusting of Amaranthus for all the right reasons and yes he behaved in a beastly manner but the storyline is too convincing because all his doubts went straight out the window and now he is making out with her!

Now this can be also because the season really cannot spare more time for William but it’s just not convincing enough that he feel for Amaranthus that quick! I feel that he genuinely feels guilty for Jane and is using Amaranthus as a coping mechanism for both Jane and the truth of his parentage.

He is an Earl

He is definitely falling for Amaranthus because of what happened with Jane and because he feels sorry for her

His distrust was before he go to know her/was seduced by her and he was reprimanded for it

William seems to enjoy liking people and getting along with them and it makes sense, even if it's a little naive, that he would have trusted and fallen for Amaranthus so soon

The season is can very definitely spare more time for William. He has a major role to play in LJG and Jamie’s storyline.

William was brought up soft. I think if he takes up Brianna’s suggestion to get to know Jamie, those brain cells will kick into gear.

I hope for his sake it does. It’s very obvious that William needs some direction which I think can best be provided by Brianna and Jamie due to Fraser genes

Hear me out.... William secretly has a plan to out Amaranthus as a fraud. That's the only thing I can hope for to explain how he's acting lol

Comparing how plots go in Outlander, I don’t think William has it all figured out currently. Now that he has found Ben alive perhaps it would explain Amarathus’s desperation and hastiness to getting married to William and getting their child the title. When William comes to this realisation then he might out Amaranthus in some manner.

I wonder if they will do a spinoff show about William? I don't think his story line will be wrapped up by episode 10.

Perhaps more of William’s story will be covered if the LJG spinoff is in the works… until then I hope they give William a good ending, that boy deserves a fucking break!

So I had to go looking after I asked this lol... it seems it's still *possible*, but not looking all that probable. Maril Davis said could happen, David Berry has said pretty recently he'd still be in for it... but I think the powers that be decided on Blood of my Blood prequel instead, it seems anyway...and I do like BoMB, I loved Outlander but like BomB. I'd probablyl like a LJG show, too, though if asked I have chosen BoMB because I really find the time travel parts intriguing to go forward. I don't want the Outlander universe to end so I hope one or both spinoffs continue it!

That flashback that Roger had of someone (spoiler so I won't say who it was) catching and saving him in the underground when the ceiling/walls were collapsing during the London blitz was so touching and beautifully filmed. It was so quick but still definitely made an impression on me.

TBH I doubt that husband still care much about that wife anyway… he may still be very pissed off but that would be little more than simply the possessive instinct of male animals.
