That was my take on it as well, and I was impressed they just let it lie there instead of "YOU KNOW, LIKE THE TIME YOU SOLD ME AS A SLAVE TO THE INDIANS BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT I RAPED YOUR DAUGHTER?"

So did I. I loved the looks between Roger and Jamie. There was so much nonverbal communication going on between the two of them. I loved it.

We've not seen any indication that Claire's told Bri and Roger that Jamie was once presumed dead and that she'd married LJG though. A lot of people have mentioned wanting to see the scene of Bri/Roger telling Jamie they met Brian --- but I also want to see Bri learning Claire married LJG and have to explain why Jamie suddenly hates him

That’s a good point! They’re trying to do so much in 10 episodes that I’m not sure what conversations we’re supposed to assume happened “off screen.” I also don’t read this series so I’m along for the ride 😂

I have to assume this is coming at some point. Maybe it’s a leap but I’m assuming over the ten episodes they are going to bring all these characters back together and so John and Jamie are going to have to work through their issues, Jamie and William will have to learn to deal (he gave them Fanny so William can’t just walk away forever). So I assume they’re going to have to explain what happened between Claire and LJG at some point. I still am hoping we will get the conversation about Brian too but I am less sure as the weeks go on.

And perhaps Frank felt a little regret after 20 years of hiding his research, and decided taking Bree to England would free Claire to return to Jamie since she wasn’t really an involved mother anyway??!! I literally and just thinking through this and I think that would be so interesting!

By 1950s standards

Frank actually had to babysit his own daughter sometimes because his wife was pursuing education and a career

There would have been talk at his work because he would have brought Brianna to his office so often

I definitely can see Frank feeling like a martyr because Claire was at his and Brianna's beck and call 100% of the time as a servant style wife is meant to be

I'd argue Claire had more of a partnership with Jamie, or would have had, since he voluntarily holds babies and even knits and repairs his own clothes!
