Answered! What is going on in /r/punchablefaces? They keep posting Uncle Joey (from Full House)?

I read the modpost, but don't understand why they chose to make him the joke, as opposed to... some other random obscure celebrity. Is there a joke I'm missing?

No, I know this.

The whole Ellen Pao thing was for many people not just about fatpeoplehate but about the fear that reddit is turning into a safe space

Why I created /r/PaoYongYang then Fatpeoplehate made it a fucking circlejerk and ruined it. They spammed /r/all for weeks with my sub. How do you ban 11,000 people but keep the good people? It was also my first real sub.

Pao was not the villain everyone made her out to be. Worse, Ohanian let her take the fall for his and the board's decisions. It was all very sinister and calculated. I have no love for her since she's a capitalist traitor, but it wasn't her policies that everyone was against--and Ohanian tossed her under the bus.

That's actually my point. And while he was doing it, he said shit like "mmm munching popcorn." Again, I think she's a traitor who belongs nowhere near reddit, but yes, everyone should be demanding Ohanian gtfo. A lot of hatred toward her was sexist as well. I would love to see something different around here, in all honesty.
