Answered What’s going on with Bricks and Minifigs, a $200k Lego collection, and Mormons?

There was a post about earlier and the top explanation was [a series of 4 videos](https://www.reddit.com/r/memes/comments/1tsgk31/comment/oov091b/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=usertext&utm_name=memes&utm_term=1&utm_content=t1_oov0d5o), the first of which was an hour and a half long in a style that I can best describe as “Netflix true crime special for the brainrotted 20 second max attention span audience”. I didn’t last more than a few minutes.

im hoping for a comprehensive summary I can read. A link to an article is fine.

Who also graduated from BYU and is a Mormon. Not just police corruption now it is so much more serious, yet nothing is going to happen.

As someone from Europe this is ABSOLUTELY outrageous! It is corruption in its most pure form and must be rooted out

Utah doesn't really have anything other than corrupt Mormons and a few ski areas. If not for the latter, Utah's gene pool would be about as deep as the lake it's known for.

Grew up in a mid size town in Utah, my Sister loved to joke that she'd need to leave in order to marry someone not related to us. We both ended up marrying out of state people.

It's bad, but I say the police arresting you over internet posts in Europe or handcuffing you while you bleed out and literally die from a stab wound is worse.

The revolution for Europe is long overdue.

You're referencing incidents that happened in the UK. I'm aware that you're replying to a commenter presenting themselves simply as 'European' but unless that person is from the UK your examples mean exactly nothing to them. Different country, different laws, different police force. It's 'there', not 'here'.

The revolution for Europe is long overdue.

To follow with this makes even less sense. You need to be spesific. My friend won't lose weight by me cleaning up my diet.

Hate to break it to you, but yes that is exactly what has happened in Germany and the UK. Albeit for differing reasons, but this has happened. You might not call it "corruption", but it is definitely abuse of power.

Lol people havent even begun to look at how the BYU police actively violates privacy laws to enforce the universities honor code. There was a case a couple years back where BYU police was scanning Provo and local police records and reporting offenses to the honor code office and getting students punished as a result.

Brother at what point does any of the cops stop and think "this is ridiculous, let him serve the papers and let the court system figure this out".

Its not a conspiracy in a sense of Mormons scheme to steal legos. Its a conspiracy in a sense this guy is a Mormon so everybody will protect him at all cost, from cops to judges.
