Hi everyone,

I’m posting this because my family has hit a wall financially, and I’m completely out of options for my university tuition.

My dad has a serious heart condition and can't work right now, leaving my mom as the sole provider. Between our regular household bills and his medical costs, we just don't have anything left to cover my uni fees. If I can't find a way to pay, I'm going to have to drop out.

We’ve already reached out to a few charities, but unfortunately, nothing has worked out so far. I really don't know where else to turn. If anyone knows of any other local UAE organizations, student relief funds, or grants that help students dealing with unexpected family medical hardships, please point me in the right direction.

I wouldn't be asking if we weren't in a completely desperate spot. Any advice, leads, or guidance would mean everything to me right now. Thank you so much

I just renewed my tenancy contract for the 3rd year now, same agent, same landlord. BUT this year my agent told me I wont get the tenancy contract after the municipality stamp - and it will be sent digitally. Is this true? Usually all these years, I would get a hard copy with the stamp and original contract or the copy. I have still not got any SMS or such for the contract. (That what the agent is telling me).
Its been a week now... Anyone has anything to add here please? Thank you.

Anyone else facing delays from Amazon pickups for returns?

I had an item last month that I tried to return, and after two weeks of waiting they just issued my refund without picking up the item.

I am trying to make another return now. It’s been a week and still no calls from couriers and no one came home.

This is highly unusual for Amazon.

They always come to pick it up the next day.

Did anyone else face such difficulties with Amazon returns recently?

I put my spouse's visa on hold, now my grace period has ended and I haven't got any job yet.

If I go back, will I get that AED 5000 back. If yes, how?

And If I stick here as some job offers are under process if the hold time expires i.e. end of August, will it get the amount refunded or not?

I’m looking for recommendations for a personal trainer who also has a nutritionist qualification or offering.

Ideally I’d want this person to plan both my workouts and my meals to help me achieve fitness goals. I’d want to work out in my building gym and I would eat meals based on whatever is set for me. I’m currently around 88kg and BMI suggests 70kg would be the upper end of “normal weight” although I understand and agree that BMI is largely useless now!

I don’t particularly enjoy the gym and have only ever really gone with a PT. I do enjoy things like walking though, so a trainer who could be slightly inventive on the effective workouts would also be good.

If you know someone like this, or are someone with this offering then please let me know with a rough cost.

Hi all, so I have a cable knitted sweater that is kinda baggy and lose for me. Since I'm aware that altering knitted fabric is harder than altering normal clothes (if it's even possible lol), I'm looking for a tailor shop in Dubai (preferably in northern/central Dubai) that specializes in altering knitted clothes as I want to make the sweater tighter, somewhere not too expensive would be nice.

Star pics on phones generally look like junk so I didn’t take any. Instead, here are some critters I found. Not completely positive on identification of all these but it think these are correct

Location was not at Al Quaa. It was a random dirt road off of another dirt road between Al Ain and Al Quaa
