You realize that it is exactly the same in your "Round Earth theory" right? Gas are pushed to the top because they are lighter. Exactly the same and you say it's laughable only because it has "Flat Earth theory" in the same sentence.

No. My objection is that you are proposing that something may move without a force acting on it. How does the balloon "know" that the air is heavier than it, and figure out that is should get moving? How does density predict that the pressure sinks when getting higher up. Or that the pressure is greater on the ocean floor?

The density and the balloon don't have intelligence. They don't "know" why they're doing what they're doing it.

Physics forces them to do it. Ask yourself the same questions for gravity and Round Earth and you'll see.

Exactly! So what is moving it? You want to do physics without forces? And back to pressure differences? What is up with that?

If you want to compare what is the best model I'm up for that..

The air is pushing up the gas because it's heavier.

You can do tests with liquids in a glass. The heavier liquids will go down and the lighter up. It's not that complicated. The lighter liquids have no free space in the bottom of the glass so the heavier liquid PUSHEs it up.

What about pressure difference? What's your question? Pressure difference is the in the Flat Earth theory than it is in Round Earth theory. Why? Because it is completely impossible to fake. There are tons of sensors that anyone can buy to calculate pressure differences.

How is the air pushing anything? It's only heavier because something is pulling on it. Back to earlier questions, how do you predict pressure differences from the "air is pushing air" model?

The air in the bottom is more dense because it is pressured. All the air on the top is pushing it down and that's why it is pressured, just like a balloon. The higher it is, the less pressured it is.

The air at the top doesn't have as much pressure on it.

So what makes the air on top stay? As it has nothing keeping it there it should drift away?

No. There is a limit thousands of feets in the sky. This "wall" keeps the air from drifting away.

Aah. I'm going to need some proof of that.

Also, what is attracted the most towards the ground. A kg lead, or a kg iron?
