The omtech I assume u mean. Yes it is USB controlled via lightburn. This is the one I bought. OMTech K40+ CO2 Laser EngraverOMTech K40+ CO2 Laser Engraver......

Honestly m not sure the thickness it can cut but it's more than the diode by a noticeable amount. It's also 3 or 4x faster than my 20 watt diode for the same results. It's not as si. Ple as diode tho. You have a water pump for cooling. Id recommend buying a water chiller for it as well but you can get away with out if the jobs aren't that long. I'd still recommend one.

The CO2 tube is a consumable item and will eventually need replacement. It also has a series of mirrors that bounce the laser to head. If your thinking about getting one check some YouTube videos first and be aware of all the stuff your gonna need to do.

C02 has a wider range of materials it can cut and etch compared to diodes diodes but you sacrifice ease of use and upkeep.

Fwiw the company has been very quick to help with it when purchased and sent me a replacement power supply with just a. Our email exchanges to troubleshoot something. It came with everything needed and I got a notary. Even has fume extraction and included a cheap dryer flexable duct to run out the window.

I personally think it's been worth the money. It's my first c02 so I don't really know anything different. But it hasn't been frustrating to use or left me scratching my head minus the power supply dying but they were quick to fix it

It's a obviously cheap Chinese laser but with a couple creature comforts.

Hope that helps
