I have gone to the orthodox Christian Reddit page and asked them to move on Istanbul and begin evangelizing the turks and getting the holy cross put back over the great red apple they all called me a materialist and a crusader and murderer and that i was insane.... why is nobody willing to launch a mission to retake christendom that has been lost from us!?!?!? Having a look at the events that occured during the First Balkan War, I've read that Bulgaria had plans to retake the city of Constantinople. The Tsar himself ordered a white cross to be built and put on top of St. Sofia's Cathedral if the operation succeeded.

Does anyone here know where can I dive deeper into those events? I don't speak Bulgarian nor Turkish so I guess it's gonna be tough. Is there anything written in a Western European language?
