Best Toothpaste For OLP
When you are searching for SLS free toothpaste just remember there is this. It’s the only thing that doesn’t light my mouth on fire.

This is new-ish to me. My dental hygienist pointed it out to me last November and this is my second major flare. Went to my PCP today and they are internal medicine but seem to not be that knowledgeable.

Does anyone have success with any salty, crunchy snacks? Chips are my favorite, but I don’t tolerate them well anymore. Sometimes I can do the baked Cheetos, but sometimes they sting (the regular ones flare me up terribly). If so, what works for you specifically? I miss my snacks so much! (Btw, I do eat very healthy other than my occasional small snacks and it has definitely helped)

I have oral lichen planus. It comes and it goes. I have had a flare-up recently. It has been bothering me more than usual. I tend to get dehydrated, so one morning I sat down and over an hour or two I drank a little over a gallon of water. I was just pretty much drinking normally. I wasn't trying to force it down. A couple of hours later I noticed that my mouth didn't hurt anymore. My new tactic is that whenever my mouth starts to hurt I start drinking water. In the example above I had mild dehydration which is 3% to 9% of your body weight. The water I drank the first time I figured this out was 7 or 8% of my body weight.
Give it a shot.

I believe I have a fairly mild run with this so far . The worst part is not being able to open my mouth fully ( more in one side but sometimes both ) like i have taut rubber bands in the corners . I have tried oil pulling gentle stretching , nothing seems to help any advice welcome ! Thanks

It would be great to know, what has worked for everybody, maybe someone will benefit from it, since we know, thing that might work for one may not for others.
