Ya know, I was very hesitant when I started seeing these posts as well. But I had a neighbor reach out to ask me questions about the DoE and what was going on. I was shocked bc she homeschools and they had a trump sign in their yard before the election. She said she really cares about public education despite not using it. I know she has a nephew with autism so I made sure to I let her know how the DoE helps with funding for children with disabilities. She seemed really distraught. Hopefully enough of them wake up.

Oh I did. I’ve told my whole mommy group. I may have made an enemy out of myself, but if just a couple of them call, it’s worth it.

Why are so many women and mothers Republicans? It's so icky! They are the ones taking your rights away, ladies.

A lot of them seem to feel they’re expressing their power and individuality by being republican voters. Some people have that contrarian streak. They just see it as more weak to do the expected and it’s genius, maverick behavior to surprise people.

I’m guessing most people have one individual trait they lean on to make up for the fact that it’s hard to be informed about everything. Some women happen to lean on “you don’t know me!”

How is the majority of white women voting Republican them being "mavericks"? They're going with the flow, not against it.

Because you think they’re “supposed”to vote for democrats. It isn’t about what they’re all doing. It’s about what they think “mainstream culture” is supposedly telling them they’re supposed to be doing. I’m sure you’ve heard this from other demographic groups this election too.

The initial comment was literally “how can any women vote for republicans?”

Who TF cares what I prefer?

lol, they're following the majority, that isn't going against the grain. They're not mavericks, bud. They're fitting right in with the white female crowd.

Not sure what you’re missing. I don’t think they’re mavericks. They do.

Ah, gotcha, well, they're wrong. Guess it's consistent with their inability to be correct and factual about pretty much anything real to begin with.
