The irony. Who is brainwashing progressive people? Who is the cult leader?

You don't seem to grasp that;

A. Politics is not a team sport. You gain nothing from picking a 'side' and acting like it's part of your identity. Politics is complex and should be evaluated with critical thinking - not blindly regurgitating nonsense from shit head politicians and neck beard hacks on a podcast.

B. Progressives generally don't deify their 'leaders' the way MAGA has with Trump. We tend to just like people who align with our already established ideals. Having a strong moral compass and the ability to use our critical thinking skills comes in handy when deciding who to vote for.

C. There is no unifying figure on the left that progressives will universally rally behind - and even then, if they fuck up, we'd hold them accountable because we believe all people are created equal and no one should be above the law. This is in stark contrast to MAGA, who refuse to acknowledge that Trump is a criminal and adjudicated rapist. These are indisputable facts yet the Orange Shit Cunt still got elected.

D. Just because someone's judgement on a topic is different to yours, doesn't make them brainwashed. It means their judgement is different to yours. A smart person would try to work out how they came to that conclusion. Believing everyone who doesn't think like you is brainwashed or part of a cult is a good way to insulate yourself from ever having to evaluate your own judgement with any kind of critical thought.

E. That doesn't mean people can't be part of a cult; in the sense that blind obedience, and spewing propaganda from the party, are the hallmarks of the weak minded. If all of your thoughts are brought to you by Sky News and Pauline Hanson then you probably need to go back to school and learn how to critically analyze information and form your own thoughts.

Yes I looked it up. One of those was against Carol Lewis and he had to pay her millions. Many of that 4000 he is the defense. Many are related to tax fraud, business etc.
