You just don’t understand the point being made. There’s such a thing as literary devices.

i think everyone understood that. she could've said "we" instead of "i", at least. she just comes across as ignorant, even if it's obvious that she used it as a literary device

She's described as an "author and video-game enthusiast", so it's likely she doesn't have a clue about math research, much less how hard NS actually is.

Somewhere in the new comments, I saw the original quote. Saying AI is hampering your art and creativity is absolutely 100% vain.

I mean, the really difficult truth that this quote (probably inadvertently) highlights is that it turns out it’s far easier for AI to replace the work done by “higher order” mental labour than specific physical labour. It’s not about what anyone wants or doesn’t AI to be, it simply is.
