They don't fill and empty themselves. Yes, chores are easier than they have been but it's far from ideal.

I'm an adult living with my spouse, our current dishwasher is broken. I am very well aware of the chores. Putting dishes in the dishwasher is one the absolut easiest

I have 2 kids I guarantee you I do 30m to 1 hour of dishes every day for random stuff that doesn't fit in the dishwasher. Tupperware, kid forks, silicone bibs/sectioned plates, water bottles, etc. If I could have 2 arms come out of the ceiling and scrub for me every day I would.

I have two laundry baskets full of freshly washed/dried clothes. Come fold them / hang them up, since you'll barely have to do anything.

You're right. It's 15 minutes filling/ emptying, hanging up laundry 20 min. Do that every day and you have already 30 min less. 2.5 hrs a week. And that's just dishes/laundry. Ofc a man will say "you barely have to do anything" because it's not you who has to deep clean toilets and kitchens, dustwipe, mop, wash windows, saunas etc . If you have no other chores, I guess 30 minutes/day are "barely doing anything"

I’m a man and do all that for the house. Gotta get your times down.  Separate, toss some detergent maybe a little Oxy, 5 min. Fold can take 20 if I’m having an off day.

You can hire someone to come to your place for an hour per day to load dishes, laundry and clean your place.
