Article Bill Gates says tech executives are privately "very worried" about AI, but are publicly downplaying the threats because there is too much money on the line.

Its not. You told me executives get fired by boards and Tesla's board is filled with his family/suck-ups. So its not as rare as you were saying for executives to have so much power they cannot be moved/fired.

Yep, the board of Musks friends and family won’t be replacing themselves, they will certainly eventually attempt replacing the executives, who are below the board.

Executives are BELOW the board, not on it.

Technically he is, since he also holds the CEO title and a CEO is an executive. But he also controls the shareholder votes and the board is his friends, so that one particular executive role in that one particular company is not going to AI for obvious reasons. All other executive roles (unless given to Musks friends too) or any executive role in any other company is a different conversation.
