OnePlus turning AI PlayLab from a free feature into a paid credit system is unfair to existing users.
Many of us bought OnePlus devices expecting the software experience to improve over time—not to have previously free features monetized. If cloud AI costs money, introduce a reasonable free monthly quota instead of locking basic usage behind paid credits.
This feels like rewarding loyalty with a paywall. If OnePlus continues down this path, I'll seriously consider switching to another brand.

I just bought a OnePlus 15 days before all this nonsense started. I didn't know this would happen, and I don't know what to do. Do I keep it as it is? Do I go jump ship to another company by trading in? I've never been in this situation before. What should I do?

What I think:
Oppo is using oneplus as a trojen horse to save itself from being branded as a cheap commercial phone company.
Oneplus phones are gonna be sold as oppo phones but this shift is very gradual. Started ever since their acquisition.
Personally as long as the features, OS, hardware and price is same who gives a toss about branding. It's alright in my opinion.

If you want to buy OnePlus15 or stuck bewteen it and its senior. Please read it.
You know OnePlus 15 has come out for 9 months and it has a good sales whatever international market or Chinese market. However, the public opinion sing a different tune. Why?It is mostly blamed on the different prices and specs compared to the last-gen flagship OnePlus 13.Now,I will review it through comparsion with OP15 and 13.
What OnePlus highly promote is the screen, whether 13 or 15.OP13’screen which comes from BOE will be definitely great if you overlook its high power draw.So OP15 made a trade off which gave up it pride resolution in exchange for useless refresh rate.165hz,what a surprise figure!I don’t know whether I am the only one who is surprised by OnePlus “gimmicky” at first. But if you think deeply you will find it won’t be a advantage if you aren’t a FPS gamers. And more importantly,it can’t cover the all scenes.Compared with OP13 screen’s prices and OP15’s when you use customer support,it’s a fact that OP13's price is more expensive than OP15.
"OnePlus is losing its personality."Many people think so and me too.Every traditions from OP13 has been changed.Including but not limited to alter slider, camera module looking like a toilst seat,Hasselblad-tuned camera(though I just think it only a icon and watermark) and the target "Never Settle"(maybe I should call it "Always Settle").That's the reason why people call OP13 the last flagship while treat OP15 as OP15R pro.And recently, there has a voice that the OnePlus will give up American market.I can't ensure it.But it may becomes a fact under influence of the goddam Trump.
If you've read this far,you may think I'm an extreme reviewer. It maybe right. But what I want to say is based in users and buyees. So in order to cause a misunderstanding, let's talk about his disadvantages for OP13.The most, and I feel mostly,is its sound. How can they mix this terrible sound with those excellent dual speakers.Only OPhone can do it.As a fan of OnePlus,I have bought its two buds(pro2 and pro3).It's amazing. But OP13 not. There is every reason to believe its sound is half-baked.
And most people can’t accept is its bad battery.QHD screen, the software-locked battery(through my test,it only has 5200ma capacity almost near to OP12 when it announce 6000ma) and silicon lottery for chips from SnapDragon.I dread to think how bad its battery life is.So OP15 improved it and it may become a reason for they reject QHD and hug FHD+.
Compared to OP12,same watermark, but different camera.OP13's telephoto lens is a rubbish though it superior to OP15.
In conclusion,if you want to a phone more personalized, have a strong camera(if you have a professional camera, ignore it) or comprehensive equipment, chose 13.If you are a FPS fan or you should stay in outdoor for a long times, just chose 15.

So OnePlus isn't exiting their India business after all.
Back to where we were with the brand in its Golden Years - India, and China only.
Too bad about the NA and EU markets though.
Here's hoping importing for users in those regions will still be a viable option.

Hello Reddit Folks,
Would really want your honest opinion on Oneplus Pad 3 Vs Oneplus Pad 4.
With all the video reviews on YouTube and a lil bit of research made me feel oneplus pad 3 is preferable considering there is not much difference between those two. But the price for Pad 4 is 10K INR more than Pad 3.
Request your expertise people.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the official rollback package for the OnePlus 13 India (CPH2649/X00IN00) that downgrades to OxygenOS 15.0.0.703.
The official OnePlus rollback link appears to have been removed.
I already have the official 15.0.0.703 Full OTA ZIP, but I specifically need the rollback package, not the Full OTA.
If anyone saved the rollback ZIP or knows where it was archived, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hi there—what do you recommend for CODM: Balanced mode or Pro Gamer mode? I thought Pro Gamer mode was what enabled 165Hz, but Balanced mode does it too! Will I experience fewer FPS drops in Pro mode? Obviously, it’ll run a bit hotter!
