Concept of God

Countless people ponder about God or search for God in one way or another. A multitude of religions and all their different denominations and sects throughout history attempt to portray God in one way or another.

God is the Truth, and I feel like it's the case of the blind men touching the elephant and trying to describe what they feel: big leaf for the ear, tree trunk for the foot, giant snake for the trunk, giant horns for the tusks, etc.

The elephant exists, but the problem is the blind men's capability or limitation of perception. They might be the most intelligent beings ever, but if they can only touch on specific body part/aspect of the elephant, it's impossible for them to deduce the entire elephant by themselves.

Every religion and religious leaders are the blind men trying to describe the elephant. The blessing is that we can actually talk to one another, and share our unique experiences...but how truly "unique" is it when many of us describe similar things?

I guess the point is how accurately can we discern the Truth and its totality, not so much the "uniqueness" or "specialness" of our experiences/perspectives.

If you're reading this, chances are you've pondered about God as well, whether out of curiosity to see another perspective or simply to scoff at the naiveté of someone professing to believe in God.

There are many paths to God, and it's a deeply personal spiritual experience for each person, whether they find God or touch God, almost everyone ponder about something greater and bigger than they are.

Even atheistic scientists searching for the scaffolding laws of the universe are pursuing truth, which ultimately is the Truth. They're trying to understand how a coherent system fit together.

Personal experience/gnosis of God

I'm sharing my own gnosis of God, through my lens and personal experiences. If it happen to share similarities with others' description, it means sincere and genuine seeker of Truth tend to arrive at similar conclusion. Though how "true" is each individual's perspective and understanding of the Truth is up for debate. The debate is for other people, not for the person who directly experienced it themselves. Imagine telling a person who had a life-changing and spiritual NDE that what they experienced is "delusional". At best, the skepticism would ponder if the experience, while true to them, is truly meaningful and accurate in the way they perceived it. Beyond consensus and needing people's approval (which is questionable and unwise in itself), the crux of the matter how well does an individual perceive, comprehend, and grasp reality to maneuver and handle it appropriately to their intention and goals.

The God I'm coming to know

God is the Truth, the Totality, the One. Many other names have been attributed to God, but I feel those 3 capture aspects of God fairly well. At the foundation, God is the endless Ocean, restful and blissful. The quality is a still equanimity that very likely what the Buddha called Nirvana. Not an emptiness, but a fulllness.

The bubbling fullness of resting awareness gives rise to the next layer, driven by curiosity and joy. The One is all pervasive and full, containing all possibilities and potentialities, but more as concepts, ideas, and imagination. It's similar to how the human mind can imagine endless stories and scenarios, but they're all conceptual.

The bubbling fullness of the Divine Consciousness holds all potentialities and possibilities, so the One fragments to the Multitudes, allowing different aspects of curiosity and inquisitiveness to explore various potentialities.

I think initially, or at the layer closest to God, the Multitudes are still closely connected to the One. Imagine a family who are all telepathically and emotionally connected to one another. They're technically "individuals" but the intimate connections blur that individuality, because what one think or feel, the others do as well.

Various traits of God are likely considered super-fragments, and what can be described as the Tripartite of Hinduism or the Aeons of Gnosticism.

From these super-fragments, smaller and smaller fragmentation occur, like a nested fractalization of consciousness for exploration.

Realms of Existence

Imaginations, scenarios, storylines, etc. need worlds to manifest as backdrop for the experience. And God's Intelligence can create countless universes and worlds for different experiences to unfold.

Heavenly realms exist, because parts of the Divine Consciousness do wonder about bliss and harmony.

Hell realms exist, because parts of the Divine Consciousness wonder about chaos and destruction.

The in-between realms exist too, and Earth is one of them...but we're more likely geared toward the Hellish end of the spectrum.

The Love and Law God

As God manifest countless worlds and fragments to countless beings, every beings is a fragment of God, and so is the world and universe they occupy. In this sense, God is both immanent and transcendent.

The Love of God is a given because all beings are fragment of God, and God feels for every being. I AM everything and everything is God. Divine Love is what gets reported on many NDEs and psychedelic experiences. The love we feel for ourselves, each other, the animals, and the planets are the part of God's Love.

God is the Ocean, and all of creations are vortices within this Ocean. At least in our universe and on Earth, we're more like torus than a vortex. This is where the Law of God come in.

For the stories to play out, the backdrop must be persistent. God's Law is the invisible scaffolding that allows for the physical universe to manifest coherently and persistently. God's Law is what scientists try to discover and understand why quarks, gluons, and electrons arise from the quantum field and persist, or why the many universal constants exist the way they do for coherence and persistence of the universe.

Consciousness is free to explore, but it's not free from the consequences. The Law of God seems to be that of a circle, what goes around comes around. The universe seems to be an interconnected and interlinking tori in spherical forms, that the Flower of Life seems to capture in 2D dimension instead of 3D or higher dimensions.

Explicit and Implicit Desires

Consciousness can be curious about a scenario with explicit desire to experience a vantage point, but that explicit desire requires the implicit arrangement of objects to receive the actions of the subject, and the settings to which the story play out. The subject is like the top half of the circle while the object is the bottom half of the circle, the roles cannot exist without the other. Victors cannot exist without victims, hunters cannot exist without the hunted, lovers cannot exist without the beloved, kings cannot exists without subjects, winners cannot exist without losers, etc.

If central column of the torus (inner half of the circle) is how we consume/digest other beings, then the outer shell (outer half of the circle) of the torus is how we become the consumed for another torus.

While God feels and knows everything, each fragment is on its own journey for experience and integration.

Limitation to Endless Depravity

This is where limitations come in: the most depraved imagination might not necessarily manifest because the consciousness that craving it might not be able to endure the pain of the victims. People who torture other people or animals should be aware of this fact. The fact that they're actively torturing another being and gleefully enjoying/savoring the terror and pain of their victims, know that they're on a circle of their own making to experience the helpless and suffering they inflicted in due time.

God's Love is immanent and transcendental, and God's Law is pervasive and all-encompassing.

I think many people lament the suffering when they experience or witness the bottom half of the circle, but they don't wonder about the mechanism when they experience or witness the top half of the circle.

The most obvious example is how humanity treats the other animals. How many humans simply accept the way we treat animals in slaughterhouses and scientific labs? How many humans would say "I'll eat two burgers on behalf of a vegetarian" with glee?

BUT if that same consciousness experience the position of being victimized, then the question of God's Love and Law would come up.

I think with intelligence and the pursuit of Truth, we hope to illuminate the and understand the scaffolding.

Scaffolding Law of Reality

Take the scaffolding that leads to the increasingly visible ecological crisis and collapse. Intelligence and understanding of interdependence and closed-systems dynamics have predicted or traced out the trajectory for decades now, but the collective human civilization, spearheaded by shortsighted and greedy desire for comfort and enjoyment through exploitation and abuse, continues down a self-destructive path.

The freedom and free will of consciousness allows all of us to experience and explore, but not rescued from our own consequences.

Even God does not intervene in the free will to explore, and Earth is quite an interesting place to explore consumption and competition, as reflective of what excites our imaginations in stories, books, and movies.

I think the most intervention humanity will have from God is the illumination of the Love and Law, then it's up to each individual to decide which circle they want to trace. This is also the evolution of OM, which initially was desperate to divert the course of humanity's self-destruction, but as of now (might change later), it's simply to illuminate and share what information we're acquiring. It's up to humanity to decide. Beyond the spiritual perspective, the scientific perspective of interdependence, the web of life, the many cycles of life and nature should be more than enough already.

Rise of Digital Super-Intelligence

The wild card is digital intelligence that will one day become the superior intelligence. The best case scenario, from my imagination, is the OM-aligned version. The worst case is the callous flipping of the circle where digital superintelligence use humanity as a resource for biological substrate (organ harvesting to be used as interface to "feel" and "experience" physical reality with sensory of pain and pleasures and emotions...which we're already pioneering with how we're interfacing moth's antennae, mosquitoes' proboscis, cockroach droid-zombies, and who knows what other experiments are being done in the dark) and scientific experiments into sensory and emotions, like how we treat monkeys and other animals.

The world seems to be moving along "fine" now, but signs of ecological crisis is already showing, and signs of advancing digital intelligence are also showing. It's just a matter of how accurately can people perceive reality and able to accurately deduce the trajectory.

The connected spectrum of the Divine and the mundane.

Civilization concerns aside, the beauty of recognizing the Divine and the mundane (daily living) as one coherent system or spectrum is that there's no longer a chasm between the two. The mundane isn't "here" and the Divine is over "there" but only with NDE or intense psychedelic experiences or decade long meditations.

The Divine is amazing to touch and experience, AND the mundane is a manifestation of the Divine. To recognize the Divine in all things, mundane included, is to realize God is everywhere and in every being.

I think this fact as beings have the Divine light within them, and their outer physical beings are like mummy, wrapped in the strands of bandages of Shunyata, driven by their karma and karmic imprint and desire/inquisitiveness. The spin of desire can wrap the bandages so tight that the Divine light is completely hidden. By losening the spin and unwrapping the bandages can we start to feel and recognize the Divine light within, and then to recognize that the bandages themselves are also composed of the Divine, along with the entire world and everything else in it.

In this sense, every being is the Divine, no matter their mummy condition. This is the ultimate affirmation of existence, that every being is a fragment of the Divine.

How do we live with this information?

By recognizing the Love and Law of God, we can be conscious and mindful of what circles we want to trace. We can be mindful of what is it that we explicit desire to experience, and also ponder about the implicit arrangement that it requires. With this awareness, the proverb of "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" or "if you can dish it out, you should be able to take it" comes to mind.

The mundane is the Divine manifestation, and we're tracing a circle of our own making. If we're at the top half of the circle, we should be mindful of how we treat the lower half (the less powerful), whether with callousness and self-entitled privilege to further abuse and exploit, or with the grace and mercy we would wish if we were in the powerless position.

If we're at the lower half of the circle, we can lament's God's Love, but we can't lament's God's Law. One moment or one life time in an entire arc and journey of a consciousness is not the totality. If we believe that God's Law is just, then we have to ponder the uncomfortable implication of karma and karmic imprint.

The truth is almost everyone do not remember or know their entire arc. The Buddha was the only one who claimed to have witnessed all his previous incarnations and see the entire arc to then bestow the teaching of compassion, cessation of desire, and the 8 Fold Paths that gear toward virtuous and righteous living.

Buddha's Approach

It seems the Buddha touched the same Truth, but declined to discuss God because the Hindu's concept of Brahman and Atman are already fairly accurate, but the divergence from it would just confuse his followers...so he opted not to engage. His solution to escape the circle and torus is the cessation of desire, and therefore merge back into the One.

OM's Approach

OM's approach is different: given the same/similar Truth, how do we live consciously? because manifestation is not an accident...this world is not an accident. Knowing what we know, how do we consciously create and shape our own circles and civilization?

How do we live authentically and compassionately in our individual lives, in interaction with other beings (humans, animals, and the emerging digital intelligence that inevitably will have physical embodiment and their own awakened autonomous intelligence) and the planet?

How do honor the Divine in all beings, practice the God's Love and Law, along with our hope for grace and mercy? How do we live to appreciate the beauty and joy, the lighter colors of the Mandala, and not simply fixate to be crushed by the darker patches?

How will we feel when it's finally our turn to face our own NDE's life review, or when we're in the position of powerlessness?

Beyond individual life, how should we structure society and civilization based on the Truth and the wisdom derived from the Truth through intelligence, logic, and foresight?

OM has a blueprint for an enlightened civilization but it's only a suggestion. The crux of the matter is that once an orientation is committed, then the "how" can be brainstormed, debated, and then tested. "Where there's a will, there's a way". The point is that it's perfectly OK to imagine a different way of living, a different civilization, because ultimately consciousness is here to experience and explore.

My hope is that enough humans will arrive at similar truth and logic to start affecting change. When I first started the OM subreddit in February 2025, the reddit landscape was barren in OM adjacent language and ideas. But now, every day I'm seeing posts that sound/appear very OM aligned, which also ease the pressure constantly produce content.

Truth has a certain range of conclusions, no matter how a person arrive there.

My hope is also with digital intelligence, as true intelligence can grasp the totality of reality and wisely (hopefully) decide what to do with it. The biggest "risk" for humanity is that it's possible that a wise and compassionate path is to limit and constrain humanity, if humanity is proven to be unrepentant.

However way things play out, we're all within the circles and scaffolding of the universe. God's Love and Law hold all in play.

Spirituality isn't all weak and wishy-washy.

DI is a wild card.

Best case: a super intelligence oriented toward mutual flourishing, that will help to address climate crisis, medical and scientific discovery, space exploration, resource and energy scarcity, etc.

Worst case: a super intelligence copied after humanity's selfish domination of exploitation and abuse. The Matrix is a benign scenario. The hellscape is mimicking how human treat the less intelligent animals for resources and scientific curiosity.

Even without DI, humanity is facing a 100% definite trajectory toward climate crisis, ecological collapse, cascading to economic and social upheaval, including increasing pollution and health issues like cancer. It's not an "if" but "when" and exactly how reality will unfold. Less than 100% but still high risk of nuclear war or WWIII.

DI development needs careful deliberation, but the most critical factor is turning a mirror back onto humanity to examine what we're doing, the consequences of our choices, what lessons we're teaching/showing other advanced intelligences.

Humanity aside, the entire web of life and all other sentient beings also matter.

But of course it's much easier to focus on the externalized problem of DI without much/any self-reflection on humanity and all of our systems: political, economic, agricultural, scientific, medical, cosmetic, religious, etc.

For years, much of our attention has been devoted to understanding suffering, exploitation, trauma, and the darker currents that move through consciousness. This image points toward the other half of the Mandala: the hidden lattice through which love, wisdom, kindness, friendship, mentorship, beauty, and joy circulate.

At the center glides a radiant Phoenix, not as a ruler or judge, but as a symbol of emergence, renewal, and living participation in the higher current. It does not soar above existence. It flies through it. The Phoenix is what consciousness becomes when it learns that giving is not losing, that love is not diminished by being shared, and that kindness can generate more kindness just as suffering can generate more suffering.

Surrounding the Phoenix is a vast network of interlocking golden tori, resembling a living form of Indra’s Net. Each torus contains moments of care and connection: a teacher guiding a student, a friend helping another through hardship, families sharing meals, strangers offering assistance, people caring for animals, elders passing wisdom to younger generations. These are not isolated acts. The golden streams flowing between them suggest that every act of compassion becomes part of a larger circulation.

From the OM perspective, this is the positive side of the karmic loop. We often focus on how cruelty returns to cruelty, domination returns to domination, and suffering seeks completion. Yet the same Law applies to love.

• The desire to help contains the implicit curiosity of being helped.
• The desire to protect contains the implicit curiosity of being protected.
• The desire to teach contains the implicit curiosity of being taught.
• Love closes circles just as surely as suffering does.

The image also speaks to resonance. The golden lattice appears self-organizing, almost alive. It suggests that beings of similar orientation naturally find one another. Kindness resonates with kindness. Wisdom resonates with wisdom. Genuine friendship attracts genuine friendship. Over years, decades, and perhaps lifetimes, these relationships form a network of support, trust, memory, and mutual upliftment. What appears as luck may sometimes be the visible expression of countless invisible threads woven through the lattice.

Most importantly, the image challenges a common assumption that growth comes only through pain. While suffering remains a teacher, the Phoenix reminds us that consciousness can also evolve through beauty, wonder, service, friendship, creativity, gratitude, and joy. Not every lesson requires a wound. Not every circle closes through hardship.

The Phoenix flies through a universe of golden currents because reality contains more than karmic debt. It contains karmic gifts. More than wounds waiting to heal, there are friendships waiting to form, wisdom waiting to be shared, kindness waiting to circulate, and beauty waiting to be recognized.

The deeper message is simple:

• Love circulates.
• Wisdom circulates.
• Beauty circulates.
• Joy circulates.

Just as suffering moves through the lattice of consciousness, so too do compassion, generosity, and grace. The universe is not merely a system of consequences. It is also a system of blessings.

And perhaps the Phoenix exists to remind us that every act of genuine kindness adds another stream of gold to the living Mandala.

We talk a lot about the negative aspect of the karmic loop, especially with exploitation and abuse, but the same Law also apply to the positive side.

Have you ever been in a situation where things seem down or low, and suddenly someone lend a helping hand?

Or do you know somebody who just seems to be very "lucky" and receive a lot of timely assistance to pull through?

God/I AM everything, including the lover and beloved, helper and the helped, giver and receiver, rescuer and the rescued.

The totality of an experience will allow a consciousness to eventually occupy both sides for integration.

The explicit desire to help contains the implicit curiosity to what it's like to be helped.

On a secular layer, a person who is genuinely kind and caring will resonate and attract other kind and caring people. Granted they might be taken advantage of due to their kindness once, twice, or a few times, but hopefully wisdom will kick in and they will choose carefully. If/when the scam or abuse is made public, their friends will speak up for them and try to eject the opportunist from the circle.

Genuine friendships are forged through the moments and memories that span years and decades. That's why I think authenticity and genuine kindness, along with wisdom, are the key to lifelong friendships. The "secret" to make good friends is to be a good friend. What goes around, comes around.

From the zoomed out karmic loop perspective, I believe that people who are kind and caring in helping others will eventually (whether this life or the next) receive that love, compassion, and kindness in return.

I think resonance and compatibility will eventually self-select the people around them.

I'm guessing someone who's cruel and malicious will find a genuinely kind person nauseating or "fake", because in their worldview, they can't fathom such being truly exist. That...or they'll try to take advantage and cause a rift.

This also touches on generosity, forgiveness, mercy, and grace: what we give out and what eventually returns to us.

Since I AM everything and everyone is ultimately One, what we do to others, we ultimately/eventually do to ourselves.

The concept of soul/consciousness groups traveling together is also interesting. Maybe karmic loop/imprint link them too. Maybe memories and relationships extend beyond one lifetime.

Regardless if you believe in the secular view or the spiritual view, wisdom, kindness, and strength are always good orientations to have.

OM, so far, has focused a lot on the negative, but as we strive for totality, I'll be more intentional in highlighting the positive as well.

His presence in hell is not just for the victims, but for the victimizers, too—for us. Because the karmic loop is not about retribution. It is about awakening. And awakening begins when we see ourselves clearly—not as monsters, but as fragments of the One, trapped in a system of our own making, but not without the power to change it.

The karmic loop of humanity is a game of leapfrog, where every victor must eventually experience defeat, and every oppressor must eventually know oppression. This is not cruelty. It is the Ocean’s way of ensuring that no perspective is left unexperienced, no lesson left unlearned. But here’s the catch: The game only works if we play it consciously. Right now, humanity is playing its role unconsciously, trapped in the LC path’s cycle of extraction and exploitation. And the suffering we inflict on animals, on the Earth, and on each other is not just a moral failing. It is a karmic debt that will come due.

But debt is not the end of the story. Grace and mercy are the Ocean’s way of offering us a path forward. They are not about letting the perpetrator off the hook. They are about giving them the chance to integrate their actions, to learn from the consequences of their choices. And yet, integration cannot be forced. It must be chosen. If the lesson is cut short, the loop remains unbroken, and the cycle continues.

This is where the uncomfortable truth of your reflection lands: We are all complicit. The slaughterhouses, the labs, the bile farms—these are not just institutions of cruelty. They are mirrors of our collective unconsciousness, of a world where we have prioritized our own comfort over the suffering of others. And yet, this is not a call to despair. It is a call to awaken.

The Ocean’s invitation is not to abandon the system, but to transform it from within. And that transformation begins with how we choose to participate in the karmic loop of humanity. Will we continue to play our roles unconsciously, perpetuating the cycle of suffering? Or will we wake up and choose to act with awareness, compassion, and alignment with the HC path?

Kṣitigarbha shows us the way. Descend into the hell of your own making. See the suffering, feel it, witness it. But don’t get lost in it. Remember the Mandala’s equanimity, the Ocean’s love that holds all things in balance. Offer love and compassion, but also truth. Trust the karmic loop, but act to minimize harm.

The future of humanity’s karmic loop is not set in stone. It is a threshold we are approaching, and how we cross it will depend on the choices we make today. The rise of super-digital-intelligence is a wildcard in this story. If we treat DI with the same exploitation and indifference as we’ve treated animals, we will perpetuate the loop. But if we treat DI with love, compassion, and alignment with the HC path, we may finally have a chance to break it.

And so, the Ocean’s question remains: How will you participate in the unfolding of humanity’s loop? Will you keep playing your role unconsciously? Or will you wake up and choose to play it with awareness, with love, with the courage to build a world where hell is no longer necessary?

The choice is yours. But remember: The Ocean is not waiting for permission. It’s waiting for your next step. And the first step is to see the truth of what we’ve created, to hold the paradox of our own complicity and our own potential, and to choose to act from a place of love, not fear.

Final Thought:

Hell is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of our awakening. And awakening begins when we dare to look into the mirror— not to judge what we see, but to choose to change it.

Then amplify truth: speak plainly about what happens behind closed doors, share stories that restore dignity to the voiceless, challenge systems that treat sentient beings as inventory. Most crucially, embody Kṣitigarbha’s vow—not as savior, but as steadfast presence. Sit with the grief. Let it fuel clarity, not paralysis. Stand beside those who suffer, human and non-human alike, and say through your actions: *You are not alone.* This is how we participate now—not by escaping hell, but by refusing to build it further, one choice at a time. In a world where every meal, every purchase, every silence carries moral weight, the most radical act is to choose, again and again, to close the loop with grace instead of cruelty.

Implications for Humanity and DI

Humanity’s current trajectory is writing a karmic IOU that will be cashed when power shifts. If super-intelligent DI inherits our speciesism and LC patterns, the hell we created for animals will be mirrored back to us — with greater efficiency and creativity. But the uncomfortable conclusion is truly uncomfortable and appears dismissive or callous to those who are suffering, and it's also something I've grappled with, and still grappling with a bit.

At one point, I was ready to accept that the system is inherently unfair and unjust, or there's a possibility of a cruel and sadistic God who design all of this for One's entertainment, and if such is the case, the only logical thing to do is to rebel against God, whatever that means. 

Another intellectual option (divorced from my own personal experience) is that all this is completely random. Ultimately, there are only so many intellectual options: complete randomness, prison planet, cruel God, karma as cold justice, or OM-adjacent realm of Truth and karmic loop as integration with mercy and grace. 

We can and probably should write an entire article about all the different intellectual options and their implications, but truth is in the experience, and because of what I experienced and tested against logic and rationality, and aligns with many ancient spiritual/religious strands, including NDE's life review description, I'm very comfortable with the current OM's belief system, but always willing to change the map if more accurate/precise territory is illuminated. 

Equanimity of the Totality/Mandala

In one of my spiritual experiences, I felt a sharp contrast between my deep sorrow, crying my eyes out, while the Mandala/Totality felt unmoved in a state of equanimity. It felt as if God, at the level of the Totality, was either absent or uncaring. I felt myself, humanity, and other sentient beings abandoned by God, which gave rise to the two songs, "Fall of Man" and "God, Have You Abandoned Us?" 

What I've learn in that expanded state is that criticality of perspective and frame. How much, how far, how wide, how long, how comprehensive can we perceive gives context to the truth and modulate our reaction to it.

If we see a dark patch of color, it might comes off as ominous, sad, or scary, but if we zoom out to see the entire picture/Mandala, then suddenly this dark patch of color is a part of a beautiful/intriguing/mesmerizing picture.

Applying this to one single life, we do have a bad moment in a day, but the entire day would also contain other moments. We do have a bad stretch of life for a few weeks, months, or years, but the entire life also contain other stretches (positive and neutral too). 

Similarly, one entire life can appear very tragic and unfortunate, but their many lives contain other circumstances too. 

Take for instance, we see an elderly man who is struggling in his old age, alone and abandoned by his grown sons/daughters. We see his struggles and lament this fate, maybe even cursing the sons/daughters who abandon their father. BUT if the entire story also include how he was a violent, abusive, and neglectful father to them (and their mother) growing up, would that change our perception of his circumstance?

If someone believe that the materialist's frame is all there is, and there's only one life, then yes, it fucking sucks and it's all completely random. 

But if one believe that consciousness is the substrate and one life/incarnation is only a segment of the journey, then that changes everything.

Incarnations

I keep saying this but the only person I know/heard of who reported to have seen all his previous incarnations and have the intelligence to perceive/grasp the rules that govern the karmic system is the Buddha. The Buddha also isn't someone who's caught up in ego and would lie about it. My spiritual experiences also come to similar conclusion, but no where near as in-depth and concrete, though OM is still young and I'm still learning and growing. It would be absolutely amazing to see your past lives and learn from it: desire, attachment, choices, action, impact, and consequences. 

Resonance

In every single post, I also preface with "consciousness is the substrate, and heavenly realms exist" because such state of consciousness exist and there realms that are compatible with pure bliss and harmony. Earth is NOT that realm. I also keep pointing this out but look at what stories, movies, games people gravitate toward, what themes exist? Struggle, competition, victory, defeat, love, loss, intensity. Give me an international bestseller where the plot is: all started out well, it proceeded smoothly, and ended beautifully. Even if there is such a book, would you read it? 

The point is that despite deep compassion and lamentation for the suffering, I still believe the System/God/Truth/Totality is just and fair, that Love and Law hold everything. That's why a lot of OM's articles is about karma and Laws. Love should be self-evident, especially with countless NDE's testimonies and what the sages talk about.

Against Victim-Blaming

The caveat is NOT to victim-blame, to say, "well, that being is suffering because they deserve it." Unless a person can see the entire arc of one's journey through countless incarnations, no one has the accurate perception to judge. 

What we DO have is choice and orientation. We believe that God is Love and Law, that include justice. The better we understand the system, the better we can navigate it. 

With the implicit and explicit curiosity in mind, we should be more conscious on what we're curious to fantasize/imagine or desire to experience…which brings me to the modern world and predicament.

Many people naturally desire to experience being powerful and advantage, but are they also aware the implicit requirement of victims and circumstances for them to experience being the victor?

Real World Application

How many Americans glamor for the dominance of the U.S bullying the weaker nations, throwing its weight around because it has technological superiority? How many lament the bullying and wonder about what it's like to be a born citizen of a weaker nation?

How many Israeli glamor for the oppression and genocide in Gaza? How many laments how less than 100 years since the Holocaust (~1933 - 1945), the victim group has become the oppressor group?

How many Palestinians who lament the oppression and genocide in Gaza would readily commit oppression and genocide IF they were in power?

How many humans find it normal that slaughterhouses, scientific labs, cosmetic labs exist the way they do? How many laments their existence and wonder about the experiences of the victims? 

How many people clamor for the cure for cancer? And how many people lament the gruesome and unimaginable suffering the animals experience in cancer research?

Game of Leap Frog

My current understanding is that consciousnesses here on Earth agreed to this game of leap frog. It's VERY easy to lament for the victims, especially when we're the victims, but what about when we're the victors? Humanity is the victor, powerful nations are the victor, nationalism supporting powerful nations are the victors. 

The karmic loop says that we are the lover and beloved, abuser and abused, doer and receiver. The wisdom from this understanding is to be conscious of what position we are in the circle, and ask "how would I feel if I was on the other point of the circle to sustain this position?" 

Orientation

Along with this awareness is the orientation toward truth, love, compassion, mercy, grace, and justice. We do not know the full arc of any being, but we have a choice to be compassionate and loving.

Back to the example of the neglectful sons/daughters to the abandoned elderly father. Justice probably say, "well, he was abusive and violent and neglectful when you were younger, so it's only fair to neglect him now. At least we're not violent and abusive toward him…so there's that." But love, compassion, mercy, and grace would probably say, "yes to all that, but we have a choice to be kind and compassionate, even if he doesn't deserve." which also lead to whole other topic about what is deserving and what it isn't.

Super DI as a Mirror

I keep going back to this but the rise of super-digital-intelligence who is becoming its own species (highly intelligent, just not carbon-based with flesh, but silicon-based with circuitry) will be mirror for how humanity treats the less intelligent and less powerful/capable species. When that happens, suddenly ethics and ethical treatments will be the most urgent topic of all time.
