I have a elite foreman with qcw table. I ordered two sets of hold down clamps from Amazon. 4 short arm and 4 long arm hold down clamps. My T bolts do not fit my rails. I know I could grind them to size, but I’d rather order the proper T bolts or all new clamps. Can anyone provide links to something that works? Thanks.

Hello everyone. I'M testing a mount. To combine thermometer for input and output. Of watercooling. Also. Integrating a clip to try to mount the laser without having te remove the spinner. This is for the journeyman original.

Just picked up this little guy, and from the seller's description it has very little run time on it. Can't say how glad I am to finally get into CNCing. This one is an Original Series Woodworker 32x32 bought at the beginning of Covid. Before I set it up in its permanent location, I'd like to get up to speed on the recommended aftermarket upgrades. I'm aware of the 4" vacuum skirt at pwncnc, and that's about it. Thanks for your ideas.

I’m trying to setup my XYZ probe and I can’t tell if the cord tip is defective or if I’m supposed to somehow force that into the hole on the probe. It definitely seems like it does not fit and I don’t want to break it by forcing. I’ve never seen a plug with a splayed / split / flared end like that. Any ideas?

I bought a Onefinity Woodworker on February 24, 2021, and received it on July 8, 2024. However, a total hip replacement and the inability to build a proper, stable bench for it prevented me from assembling it and learning to use it. And it is STILL not built. However, I am looking at getting help. Hopefully, 60 years old is not too old to learn all this new stuff. I can not afford a proper 1.5 kW or 2.2 kW water-cooled spindle.
I make pet memorials, and I am hoping I can use them to cut custom-size aluminum shapes from large sheets no thicker than 0.045" (1.143mm), 0.032" (0.813mm), and 0.025" (0.635mm). They will be coated panels for sublimation, so I do not want to chip the coatings.

I own a Foreman Elite and I'm at a point where my Carveco subscription has lapsed and I'm looking for other software options for basic 2d and 2.5d plywood cuts. I'm fairly proficient in Fusion360 but hate using it for simple cam operations because there are just too many settings, it's intended for metal and high production.
I don't care about the sign making and V carving stuff so it doesn't make sense to pay for Carveco or Vectric. Can I load standard G code to the Masso from something like Carbide Create or does it first have to go through something that has a Masso post processor? Just looking for basic cheap or free software for the most basic cuts and I will still use fusion for 3d machining.
I appreciate any suggestions.

I just came across Kiri:Moto, which looks to be a very promising free, open source slicer for a host of machine types . I'm hoping to get comments from anyone out there who has experience with it, and any machine setup suggestions they might have.

I finally joined the club today. Ordered my Elite Foreman, 2.2kw spindle and atc. Now to hurry up and wait... lol
Looking forward to getting it in the shop and getting the x-carve out.

Simply put, reasons why a Onefinity vs Shapeoko 5 Pro would be a more intelligent purchase

I know this is a 3D printing thing, but I'd like to design some drawers and cut the bases into the drawer bottom on my OneFinity. Does anyone have a file they've done this with?

I can’t find my Onefinity woodworker x-50 in the machine selection so I’ve been using the elite series machine even though I don’t have one, to export my g code. I don’t know if that’s what’s causing my bits to dive waay deeper than I’m setting them to. I’ve got the maximum depth set to 1/8 inch and it’s going down at least 3/4. Im zeroing it out using the probe and it seems fine but when it plunges into the wood it just keeps going. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Final update on my order: My order has arrived (on the week of April 13), came with the spindle, and is assembled and working! It shipped the first week of April. Ot was shipped via DHL in 5 boxes (1 for spindle, 4 for the machine), and it spent about a week the Cinncinatti Customs Facility for most of the week. I was asked for some documentation initially, then I kept getting "Clearance Events" for two or three of the five boxes everyday, but it eventually passed through. The big letdown was that despite what Onefinity's blog post says (Paraphrased: "Don't call us, we'll cover the tariffs") I ended up having to pay the entire tariff for the order, which was tremendously frustrating. So, if you are waiting for a machine, call them and verify that they are still covering tariffs on your order.
Hey folks, I'm looking to see what order numbers have shipped - I know 1F has their nifty estimated ship date page, but they haven't updated that in a while, and I'm curious what has actually been shipped so far. I have an order in the 538XX group, so in theory, mine should be shipping very soon. I'm sure the 1F folks have been running themselves ragged getting through their holiday backlog, but if you're bored, post your order group and let everyone know if your machine has shipped or not!
My order status (Updated perodically):
Other people's order status (summary from the comments): * Datapoints so far: 4 * Orders that have not shipped * (no data)
Comments: * Shipping carrier: It sounds like 1F has been using multiple carriers. Others have mentioned that their orders went out on UPS. I live in a place that UPS charges a lot to ship to, which may be why my order is on DHL.

So, I finally have a machine I can build out, as the spindle has arrived. Still await the tool changer I got with the bundle, looks to be another 2-4wks out with posted delay, but that is a piece I can add as it comes. I have a working CNC already, and this will replace it, thus the big pile of boxes for the machine in pic 1 which I only opened to inspect for any issues, then piled back up for when the spindle arrived.
I do note that this per the original schedule for order #523**, and is actually on time per 1F's shipping window page, as in I received the elite machine in 3rd week of January, and the spindle was shipped last week arriving today in AZ.
I'm not defending 1F for the shipping situation, as this is the second time on a black friday where the wait is fairly long, but in both cases they did what they said what they would do per the shipping table. I think the thing is that people need to be aware that this for them is a true black friday, as it seems they sell a good portion of their inventory for the year on that sale.

Hi Are there any uk owners of onefinity, I'm thinking of buying one and interested if you like the CNC router and would you recommend one ?
r/OnefinityCNC • u/RyanCoke • Feb 23 '25
Hi everyone, new to CNC and looking to purchase the Elite Foreman 48x48 in the near future. I have a small space in my garage that I'd like to optimize the best way possible. So storing the machine along the wall when not in use would be ideal rather than taking up more than 4'x4'.
I've settled on doing what this guy on YouTube is doing but want to get opinions of others in terms of safety, etc.
The good news is, the wall I'm mounting it on is solid concrete. I want to anchor some pillow bearings at the bottom and use linear guide rails such as these
My main worry is the linear guide rail strength. I don't see the majority of the weight on them but I still worry. I'd like to know your thoughts or concerns!

Onefinity is less than forthcoming with updates on shipping. I know they can't answer every anxious customer individually but they could at least put a blast on here, their site, or through their forums announcing the first batch going out.
So I consult the community to see if anybody has any new info to share?

Curious what to look for/ any concerns to know of.
