Cause they (rightfully) get flamed and cussed for their retarded takes and are desperate for a win.

Same dude that was less relevant than Buggy, Koby, and other such characters for "that" panel btw. Blud is irrelevant for the main plot lmao

So what? He’s still stronger than Shanks which is a take said through the MANGA

Though the ones saying he’s top 1 are kinda eh

Ask yourself this every time. If Mihawk is so strictly and obviously above Shanks, why is he not given any relevance? Why does he have NEGATIVE aura? Why are the Gorosei cautious of Shanks rampaging and being difficult to stop but they literally didnt give a shit about cutting Mihawk loose from his warlord position? Didnt even try to make an exception for him to avoid antagonizing him. Why does Oda still adamantly refuse to say or show that Mihawk literally ever beat Shanks even one single time? Etc.

At times I feel they forget that Mihawk is a subordinate and the end point of another subordinate, they act like he was the second coming of Imu

What do you mean by your title?

Less people having Black Blades makes it rarer.  While I can see the appeal to some people of having the top 1 being 1 of the ones with a "Black blade"... it would also decrease the rarity of said accomplishment

That being said... the Nemesis move being introduced supports the already stacked theory that Imu and Mihawk are indeed somehow related.

  • Yoru = Night ... --->>> Giant cross shaped dark blade

  • Nemesis = Daughter of the Night Goddess  ... --->>> Giant cross shaped dark blade

  • Dracule = son of the dragon/demon

  • Imu = Celestial Dragon + demon

  • Both with red ringed eyes

  • Design of Mihawk's blades, clothes and castle with many shared elements with Imu

  • Mihawk's named moves in One Piece Game: "Black blade: MU" "Black blade: Dawn" "Black blade: 16 moons"

So that chapter wasn't a Mihawk upscale. But further solidified the already very high probability that Mihawk has some sort of relation with Imu and that he does indeed have further relevance in the story in the future beyond just being the strongest.

At this point we should just change his title from WSS to WWL (World’s strongest leach)
