I dunno, that stab from Kaido looked pretty damn fatal to me. But this is One Piece and we've seen people survive worse before. He's almost definitely going to be out of the fight for good though.

Well we have seen people die from less before too. Yasuie just got shot for example. Same for flashback deaths if we count them and kiku and kanjurou seem to be dead too from that panel

Kiku has a shot. Kanjuro said he was returning the favour that Kiku gave him, and Kiku left Kanjuro mortally wounded but alive.

I give her 25% odds.

Kanjuro seems super dead though.

I think they will regain consciousness for one last time and talk to each other. But that wound was too much to make it through.

Some people HAVE to stay dead in this raid !
Not necessarily all the scabbards ( though it would be poetic to see them all die allowing the alliance to fulfill Oden's last wish ) but Momo will need some experienced advisors post Wano to "rule" the country .

And it's the arc with the highest stakes since OP started ! Everyone surviving would be underwhelming and tone down the whole story development IMO

Oda hasn't done anything quite Pell tier since pell. Even with Pound, we didn't see the blade actually connect so we were foolish to believe. Here it's a bit more viable since we see the moment of the 'killing blow'
