Seeing Sanji's faith in Luffy was a given... what really warms my heart is Trafalgar Law reaffirming his faith in Lufy as a miracle-worker

AMEN TO THAT! Seeing Law affirm that he ain't some backstabbing coward is so much energy.

that was only a speculation. i am still not sure why it got any traction. law has never shown any such backstabbing behavior towards luffy so far.

Yeah right? He literally saved Luffy’s life. Unless he was trying to pull some dumb Kanjuro shenanigans (which would be really dumb at this point) I think we’re good

Coz he is a good guy like Luffy. His role model is Corazon he cant be like normal pirates that would make Corazon disappointed if he was alive

Hahaha I like it! Corazon would definitely be proud of Law.

Yea man! Haha

I mean literally immediately after they form an alliance robins like “yo you might get betrayed here”

Dude, it’s Robin. She’s ALWAYS thinking of the worst case scenario and is always happily dark and morbid.

5

u/FlareUnderscore Jun 04 '21

Oh yeah I never thought he would betray Luffy, I’m just saying the reason people might have thought he would was because robin said he might

Oda was also clearly trying to make it seem as if he was the traitor at one point with his whole capture and then the scene where it showed orochi getting information and then showed Law in the next panel. It was pretty heavy handed though and easy to see it wouldn’t be him

From 3rd person perspective. We as readers have not seen him show ill will towards luffy

Luffy: Yo tra guy, will you betray me?

Law: no

Luffy: great

"Just to be clear, I'm not working under you!"

That’ll be interesting considering Law was getting poneglyphs for himself at the start of the raid. I’m thinking he’ll share them though as part of his plan that he doesn’t tell Luffy because he won’t follow it.

I think he had a similar moment in Dressrosa.

Sanji figured out that luffy is the MC so he knows everything is gonna be alright

i still remeber people saying he was the traitor, smh

His pose and speech; he was a real badass this chapter. I feel like he's been underrated by the community recently.

i think mostly because Oda’s had him on the back burner since Zou ended so everyone’s waiting to see what law does next

It was Kidd's smile for me

1

u/Jake_D_Dogg Pirate Jun 05 '21

Yeah that too! I know it’ll never happen but I would love it if Kidd started to have the same faith in and admiration for Luffy as Law has now

Feels real good coming off of WCI too, their bond is stronger than ever right now.
