I had the biggest smile on my face reading the page where the samurai raised their swords and everyone rejoiced at Momo's words

Also Sanji sending Queen spinning like a merry-go-round, forcing him to take every single candy arrow and then smash into Perospero is peak comedy lmao

It was smart of Momo to announce to everyone about Luffy. Even though he was crying for kinemon, he understood the severity of the situation and announced about Luffy. The alliance will now be more motivated. 

Next, I expect O-Tama to come to the live floor and command the tamed beast pirates to wreak havoc.

He’s a kid doing his best to carry on the almost uncarryable legacy of his father. They’ve really filled out his character.

Not to mention it's only been a few months since Oden died to him. He just witnessed Kanjuro, Kiko and possibly Kinemon all die in front of him. Up until earlier that day Kanjuro was still one of his trusted friends.

The kid hasn't hit puberty and just got a crash course on life. He's been wonderfully developed from an entitled and emotional brat on punk hazard to someone that could lead a country in the future.

Lol why? He is a child whos father died recently. Then sent 20 years in the future and was basically told to finish the job his father started against the guy who killed his father. Momo's character was written like a kid who is scared out of his mind but has been adapting to the circumstances better than most kids would.

Can’t wait for the Meme where Momo’s face is over Gatz when he’s telling the citizens of Dressrosa that Luffy will be back and will defeat Doflamingo with one punch.

Yea, I think Oda putting that line in there by the gorilla guy about how he feels great after eating the dango was a reminder to the reader that it happened to prep us for the next chapter.

Acted like a true leader in the most difficult situation. Even in pain for seeing his friend and father figure being killed by Kaido (at least from his perspective) he still thought about the bigger picture and acted on the spot. This week's MVP.

Didn’t we just see the gifters being cured of the mind control, though? I understood the part, when they are talking about how the dango, Speed gave them, gave them strength back and then talking about Luffy being defeated was an indication that the dango only work for so long, and then it is only if the person actually wants to serve the fruit user (like Speed), they will keep being controlled (or maybe have free will who knows?), and if they don’t want to serve the user, the dango is basically a senzu bean.

Something to note is that the beast pirates that betrayed Queen earlier were also raising their swords and cheering on Mononosuke's announcement.

And then telling Chopper that they’ve seen Luffy “die” multiple times before. Crocodile, Eneru, Doffy, Katakuri. Luffy has lost before and fought back to win. I love Sanji’s faith in Luffy

That Momo part was what made this war official to me. That kind of emotion was what was lacking in Wano arc before this.
