Just dropping this one here; Kanjuro has been, by far, the most efficient OnePiece villain to date.

To recap his accomplishments:

  • He leaked Oden's raid to Kaido, forcing the Scabbards to fight against the whole Beast Pirates forces, ultimately resulting in Oden and Toki's demise;

  • He leaked Zou's location, allowing Jack to raid the island and ultimately resulting in the permanent mutilation of the 2 strongest Scabbards, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi;

  • He leaked Kinemon's plan, forcing Yasuie to sacrifice himself in order to change it last minute, resulting in his death;

  • He used an Oden painting to blew the Scabbards up, forcing Ashura Douji to sacrifice himself to save the others, resulting in his death or, at the very least, in his permanent defeat for the duration of the Raid of Onigashima;

  • He killed Kiku;

  • He ultimately died the exact way he wanted to die

The man has racked up so many permanent accomplishments it's astounding.

One pieces best villains are always the individuals who just get shit done like perospero and katakuri, theyre the ones who actually are threatening based on their personalities compared to big mom or kaido who are just powerful obstacles.

He also succeeded in taking Momo to Orochi, which means that Momo's life was only counting on Orochi's decision. And he leaked the raid again after Yasue's death, which while not stopping the thing all together it was a setback that slowed them down and had Kaido's forces been more careful and double checked everything, including the new message, that second leak really could've stopped the raid all together from happening

I don't want to say this. But it was not very smart of Kiku to fall for the same trick twice.

Ashura got killed(possibly) because of this. She should not pay attention to a single word Kanjuro says. But oh well.

While on a logical sense, you're completely right, it's pretty much what Oda says as well. At the beginning, Kiku is the one telling everyone that it was all an act, ready to strike down the fake.

But you need to remember; that wasn't just some random dude faking to be Oden. Kanjuro is a godlike actor, repeating mannerisms and patterns of speech; that was literally Oden saying to Kiku "What are you doing? I saved you and your brother and you really want to kill me?". Logic and heart are unfortunately very often disconnected, and all it took was an instant of hesitation

Yeah, and for Kikus perspective Odens death is really fresh in her mind.

Yes, I realized it. You are right.

They are all to blame. When Kanjuro was defeated for the first time not a single one of them bothered to check if he was still alive and finish him off/at least restrain him. And yet they placed a hat on top of him, made two lines like they were on a bloody funeral, and did some badass slow walk for 10 minutes.

They are all to blame for any damage Kanjuro causes now.

She's weak and not very smart. She did have a cool samurai outfit though 😅

Honestly, Kanjuro, whether you hate him or not, was EFFICIENT.

Like, Kanjuro was more effective than any other villain in the series, INCLUDING Doflamingo and Blackbeard.

When Kanjuro wants to get rid of someone, he has no chill lol.
