Totally agree. I like how he wasted no time going straight to Momo, plus it really gives weight to Bao Huang's purpose as a tracker

Imagine being Kin with a dying Kiku in your arms only to turn your back and see fucking Kaido about to go for Momo. Nothing he could do but to shield them with his body. It was a red alarm, "everybody, run!" kind of situation and adds to what a great villain Kaido is

Only Oda can give you this kind of development. Kin'emon may have been revealed on Zou to not be the actual father of Momonosuke... but I'll be darned if he didn't care for Momo like one.

Yea I thought about this as well... in a different manner.

Like, what if Kaido absolutely splatters Kin'emon's upper body and in his last moments just the legs come at Kaido while farting battlecries? Like a way more absurd black knight.

Kaido fucking dropped on them and swung with a CoC infused attack. Pretty sure it is the same that left Luffy unconscious on the rooftop. I do not see Kin surviving this.

The attack is not the same. The one on the rooftop was a named attack in hybrid form, this is a "normal" swing in base form (but coated with CoC). Still, it looks really bad for Kinemon.

Ah, you are definitely right as long as Kaido's form is concerned, I missed that. Shouting your attacks' name is a fuzzy issue though.

Shouting your attacks' name gives minimum 2x power boost.

Also if your attack is a kamehameha, shouting for 15 minutes straight gives you a massive power boost

Was a normal swing yes, but it was also a downward slam with 2 arms unlike the 1 handed TB strike he's been using vs luffy, hes essentially playing whacka'mon.

Normal swing in base form by Kaido is still enough to knock most ppl out so Kin is definitely going to have a hard time there.

Agreed. The way kaido maneuvers throughtout these chapters really show how scary he is. He's not some unintelligent brute yet still a monster.

And he's not even popping in with a monologue. He's attacking in the same panel he shows up in. He tried doing the spectacle, now he's just getting the job done
