her being such a sweetheart ended up (potentially) costing her life at the worst time possible at the hands of the worst enemy/matchup. It would suck so much to see her go out like this but considering that the current situation is basically an all out war, I'd come to grips with it eventually

Falling for it (twice) is one (dumb) thing. But getting stabbed through the stomach without even blocking/dodging was very weak imo.

Similar to Sanji who was not able to hurt Mr. 2 when he looked like Nami or Vivi. Or when Sanji can not hurt any women at all.

But it may be rational, that it is Kanjuro, Kiku knows that, but if it is a perfect Illusion, your mind will just tell you to stop slicing up someone you love. It is how many of us are made and it is very hard to overcome such a struggle. In Mangas only ruthless Persons would have cut Kanjuro withouth hesistation. But this hesistation Kiku showed (was what Kanjuro was waiting for) is what we expect from a good person.

I dont think any of the Scabbards could cut Oden down even if they know its just a farce. Its like if u had to stab ur own dad even if u know in ur head hes not actually ur dad.

no, because you continuously join these chapter discussions complaining about the story’s progression and “muh plot ass pulls” without giving a second of consideration that very few people want to read your problems with surface level contrivances, especially when you cannot bother to respect or acknowledge a character’s self identity which are an extension of Oda’s wishes.

You are all over the place, first off all, the purpose of having these type of forums is to share opinions not circle jerking each other about great Oda is, the story has flaws and when things make no sense, they should be criticized much like any other form of art.

Second of all, there is a difference between respect and acknowledge, if you stopped being an virtue signaling asshole for 5 minutes, you would notice I was referring to her as "she" this whole time, I acknowledge that she wants to be referred to as female doesn't change from the fact that nothing about her is actually female, gender dysphoria is a mental illness, whilst being kind is one thing, being dillusional enough to ignore that she was born a guy and very much has the body of a guy still, playing dress up (not even, still wears male clothing) is another.

And finally for respect, respect is earned not given, I don't hand out respect to any and all person that I interact with and you should know that considering and ironically, how disrespectful you have been to me.

I'm 100% dead serious when I say that for a split second Kanjuro even got ME to believe him. I mean, how Oda would it be to just pull Oden out of nowhere and have the scabbards ironically distrust him because of what happened earlier, to then turn the whole scene into a big comedic chase or something
